Dim Sumofa Bitch -- Rourke Takes Shot at Asians

It wasn't just politically incorrect -- things got downright offensive last night when Mickey Rourke told a fan whose camera wasn't clicking, "You're Asian, you're supposed to be able to take pictures."

He did go out of his way to pose three separate times for the fan, but for a guy who already got into hot water for offending the gay community this year, Mickey might wanna be more careful about what comes out of that mouth.

17. For what it's worth, while we're on the subject of Asians, why is the beef so chewy? Seriously? I quit eating Chinese, I cannot find any "beef" in the supermarket that is that chewy. It really ticks me off that they are getting away with feeding us DOGS!!!!!

19. At least he used the riciculous PC term "Asian" instead of the more specific (and correct) term "Oriental". Asian could mean anything from a Russian to an Israeli to an Indian to a Korean. The forced use of this term is the stupidest and most pathetic bit of fascism to come down the pike in the last 20 years or so.

21. YOU GO MICKEY!!!!! Screw political correctness, we have had enough of this crap. It is the land of FREE SPEECH!!!!!!!!! It only applies to certain grooups of people anyway. Some can make comments and get away with them, and others can't it just depends on who they are and which media is covering it at the time. Just like blacks can say n _ _ _er all day and nothing is said or done about it, but let a white person even suggest it and they are crucified. Or certain politicians can say stuff and get a free pass, but others usually republicans are asked to resign over it and it's front page news. And the homosexuals can sya the dreade N word and it gets no coverage, or Rosie can call black ignorant and it gets no coverage.I could go on and on, but what is the point? Free speech only appies to certain people and groups period. Even a lot of so called open blogs will edit it if they don't like YOUR VIEWS, even if there is no foul language in it. Face it Mickey you said the wrong thing in some of these peoples views, but look at all the movies that make fun of other cultures and nothing is ever sdaid about it.

22. Get over it and take a damn joke.
People get offended waay to easily.
It's really sad that a joke can brand someone as a horrid person.

24. I didn't see anyone looking offended in that video. Mickey was joking....everyone was smiling...aren't people allowed to joke anymore? When did it become a crime to joke...I think that in and of itself is not politically correct.

25. MR wasn't being racist. Just a joke. I'm Asian American and didn't take it that way at all. Anyways that guy with the camera should have gotten his camera act together. How annoying was he to keep on bugging MR for another then another picture. MR was cool & patient enough to let him take 3 pics. Lighten up.
