19. I think it’s beautiful! I have not problem with other countries still have monarchs. I’m fascinated with it. Do I agree with it 100%? No! What I mean by that is she reigns over certain countries that should have their own ruler or government. Over all, I still think it beautiful.

25. To #11ViolettaUK, as an American all I can do is laugh at you Brits with your so called royal family. Apparently it does not bother you to keep them in the lap of luxury for doing absolutely nothing. Good for you. I for one have never been impressed by any of them, including the sainted Diana. I will never believe she was murdered by the family but she took risks unneccessarily and lost her life. The real losers were her sons. as for the queen and her consort, yuck. All they accomplished was making some gawd ugly off spring.

26. While you are drooling over her and thinking of all that English money supporting her (we do have a couple AF Ones and Pelosi gets her own plane), she used to be in (maybe still is) the US soil bank and made a lot of US money with her American farm property not being farmed. Pretty sneaky!

28. Rosie - you must not realize that the royal family brings in millions of tourist dollars from Americans like you. That is why the govt and people continue to support them. And they DO make hundreds of appearances a year and contribute alot of time to charity work. As an American, are you just jealous that you do not have royalty??
