Yes and in real life you would have a criminal record and be in jail for assault. He's also 6ft tall so not a midget at all. You seem VERY jealous, perhaps because your a nobody in life whose life has amounted to absolutely nothing.

Why is it people think that these actors OWE them something. The vast majority of people who watch their films don't care about the actors and aren't sad little rabid fans with no life.

38. Go Christian. The fans need to show some respect, if he doesn't have time to sign your autograph or talk to you personally then so be it, there is no celeb on the planet who *always* has time to chat or sign an autograph. He wasn't being rude in the least, the paparrazi were the rude ones.

39. Wow, Chad, CHILL OUT. Reese-colored glasses? I merely said that what she did was nice...even made light of being so flattering to her. So, calm down!

My point was that in general, Christian Bale seems to act like a jerk A LOT. And I never said, nor implied, that he sits on his wad of cash. I said he should give his TIME. So, YOU don't go making assumptions and misconstruing my comment. Giving a chunk of your time to a non-profit is MUCH different than writing a check. That's what people do who feel guilty b/c they don't give their time to the community. Yeah, it's great and all...but, as anyone whose given to their community knows, it feeds your soul A LOT more to invest in people with your heart and soul than with your check book.

And regardless, there are a MILLION ways people can react to the SAME situation. ANYONE can be polite in the face of rudeness. And, it would behoove him to learn that graciousness in his line of work, where his public image is important. I've faced situations where I'm uncomfortable and pissed...that doesn't mean it's ok to lose my cool. I think it shows A LOT about someone when he/she can smile and be kind, even in the face of stress. THAT, was my point. How are you gonna spin this one, Chad? I don't thinkthere's much you can miscontrue-it's pretty straightforward. And if you figure out a way to osomehow put a negative spin on what I've said, I'd suggest you go work for the editing company who did a number on poor Christian Bale. They could probably use you.

40. I'm not really sure where the midget and Napoleon comments are coming from, the guy is over 6 feet tall. The autograph guy bothering him is probably over 6'4 but that hardly makes Christian "little".
Don't judge unless you saw how the guy was acting to him. Considering alot of stars have snatched cameras, choked, hit, or spat at paps I'd say Christian handled it firmly and directly. The guy was harrassing him and he didn't want to rudely keep his wife waiting.
Yeah, that $10 you paid to see his fims got you a movie, nothing else. He doesn't owe anyone crap, and he certainly does not owe some autograph poachers that disrespect him and his family.

First of all he's a Brit,and Brit's are big on manners,and he's within his right to be angry at this rude dude.Christian is one of the most patient and polite actors around,and if you've seen him with fans before,he's usually nice and very accomodating and patient.Don't judge him by this one incident,he probably was in a hurry and did'nt want to keep his Mrs. waiting.Christian his hot,and he looks great,and I will continue to be a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of his,no matter what!!!!! 45. Can I clarify something?
I'd never disclose a name here, but I will say this...

I recognize the autograph seeker - helluva nice guy, polite, big and big-hearted.
I imagine he was trying to get an autograph for himself and probably his kid(s?)
(- thus more than one). He showed me that he's gotten a few autographs before from people he's admired,
and gave me a bit of advice once - never bother celebrities, only ask for autographs if it's
not an inconvenience for them, and have them personalize an autograph for you - as
it's a keepsake (but you can't sell that on eBay). He told me he NEVER sells autographs on eBay.
He would never insult a celebrity like that. Why would you, if you want to get along with celebrities?
This is a guy who I think is looking to or has worked professionally with celebrities and supported them.
Of course Christian does not know him as others do or his intentions (or vice versa), and Christian
was in a rush, so we have our situation here that strikes me as very regrettable and ironic for
both men.
