Heather Locklear: It's Been a Rough Year
Heather Locklear talked about her DUI bust on "The Tonight Show" last night without ever mentioning the term "DUI" -- but that wasn't what made her start crying.

31. She's such a sweetheart. She is so down to earth and I am absolutely thrilled that if what she said is true, then more power to her
VIVA HEATHER!!!!

32. hey #13 (yadayadayada)....YOU'RE the one that needs to get your facts straight. T.J. Hooker was NOT an NBC show, In fact, NBC was about the only network the show was NEVER affiliated with. ABC and CBS were the networks the show was run on. Moron.

33. Only Daisy and I seemed to have watched the same Leno last night: Heather Locklear is coming unstuck. She looks great but those misplaced crying jags and just-under-the-surface melancholy were excruciating — I had to turn the channel; it was too painful to watch. And, followed by überjournalist Christiane Amanpour ... the contrast was scary. What happened to the plucky, sassy, confident Heather Locklear of not that long ago? Fire the shrink and change the meds. Take care, Heather.

34. saultxyca - exactly! When is she going to get real for once in her life? And the under the radar jabs at Richie - making fun of him that he was late, so he was by himself for Thanksgiving, and that the psychic was correct when psychic told Heather that she lived on a hill with a daughter and that no man was at her home (referring to him never being home?), and then again that she didn't have anyone funny at home when talking about Jack during Melrose days. I couldn't stop staring at her puffed out face, it wouldn't even move when she laughed. Amanpour was brilliant and you could definitely see the contrast. Airhead vs. Authentic!

35. I hate to break it to those of you who put celebrities up on a pedestal and take your wrath out on them when they destroy your fantasy, but they are human beings. No one can be"sassy" and "plucky" 24/7, and being out of work for awhile would undermine anyone's self-confidence. Add a genetic predisposition to depression, hormonal imbalances, doctors who don't really know how to treat either but are happy to take your money, and a society that treats older women like sh-t, and you have a problem. Going through it all in public and being subjected to the relentless carping millions of strangers, many with an ax to grind like the two obsessed Richie fans above, does not help. It's plainly obvious to even a casual observer where you two are coming from and it's not in the best interests of Locklear, her ex, or their child so quit acting like you really care. You're upset because she messed up your "Richie and Heather 4ever" fantasy world. So while we're doling out personal advice to total strangers, may I suggest you two take some of your own advice and "get real" and find good shrinks. Maybe you can give your pal Richie a referral, since he's obviously got problems too, and probably had them long before Heather Locklear entered the picture. And since we're making comparisons just to demean, let me say that you two don't sound like you have much in common with Christiane Amanpour, either.
