MTV Reality Star Killed in Car Wreck

TMZ has learned Kandice Hutchinson, one of the contestants kicked off the upcoming MTV dating show "A Double Shot at Love," died in a car accident a short while after taping her last appearance for the show.

We're told the producers of the show -- which features two bisexual twin sisters (above left ) looking for love -- edited her scenes to remove some of the more outrageous behavior, out of respect for the family. Sources close to the show tell us the producers have been in touch with the girl's family and they are supportive of MTV's plan to keep her in the show.

Launch photosAccording to KDFW in Texas, Hutchinson died on October 21 after her car was rear-ended causing Kandice to be ejected. Police said she died on the scene.

The first episode of "A Double Shot at Love" will be dedicated to her.

49. Let me just start off by saying, you people disgust me. How dare you get on here and start talking trash about Kandi. If you didn't know her, you missed out. Yes, she was wild and crazy but that is who she was and that is why we loved her so. She didn't care what others thought and was the kindest person you could ever meet. Her dream was to be a Rockstar and she was on her way of pursuing that dream. She is not a slut,she is not a whore, she was a beautiful person. There are different kinds of beauty. She had it going on and so she showed it off in her MODELING pictures. She was a model. She wasn't some sleezy girl that took pictures of herself and posted them around. They were taken professionally by modeling agents and photographers. How would you feel if people started posting ridiculous things on a bulletin about you? It's rude, disturbing, and it makes me angry that there are such cruel people out in this world. Give her some respect. Ecspecially if you didn't know her. I can't wait to see the show, we loved the way she was and wouldn't have changed it for the world. And for those that are saying she was drunk? No honey she was not the least bit drunk. It isn't your place to say things like that. It's not only disrespectful to Kandi, its disrespectful for her family to get on here and read the things that are being posted.

53. amanda, i agree; everyone is someone's daughter. people (men) should remember this when they are watching some girl act like a whore to get fame and attention since that seems to be the fast track way to stardom. mtv should be ashamed of themselves for making money for someone else's downfall. we will all be held accountable for our decisions one day, and no matter how beautiful our "inner soul" will be judged for our actions. too bad soo many rich producers make money off of conributing to the downfall of our young women.
