MTV Reality Star Killed in Car Wreck

TMZ has learned Kandice Hutchinson, one of the contestants kicked off the upcoming MTV dating show "A Double Shot at Love," died in a car accident a short while after taping her last appearance for the show.

We're told the producers of the show -- which features two bisexual twin sisters (above left ) looking for love -- edited her scenes to remove some of the more outrageous behavior, out of respect for the family. Sources close to the show tell us the producers have been in touch with the girl's family and they are supportive of MTV's plan to keep her in the show.

Launch photosAccording to KDFW in Texas, Hutchinson died on October 21 after her car was rear-ended causing Kandice to be ejected. Police said she died on the scene.

The first episode of "A Double Shot at Love" will be dedicated to her.

everyone accepts it and politician ignore it. Car companies want a bailout so they can make more death traps.
The President hating news complains about 4000 brave volunteer soldiers freeing 50 million people while
42,000 sisters brothers moms dads and friends die every year. With technology every speed limit sign could atomatically regulate a cars speed to within 5 miles over which would have helped here. Auto brakes can be applyed with sensors that detect immenent crash. Coherency testers before starting a car can stop tired angry drugged or dirunk people from starting the death traps. Everyone call your politicans now and demand Auto speed limit controls, auto brake crash sensors, and coherency equiped car starters now. Yes, and there are a lot of things that cold go wrong having these devices on cars. Cars are machines. You can't replace the human thought process with an object that doesn't have the ability to make judgment calls. People get killed driving at low rates of speeds as well as high rates of speed.

My thought is that if your car has auto brakes and another car is heading towards the side of your car, do you really want the car to slam on the brakes? I wouldn't want to be sitting at a stand still with a car heading right towards me. This could also be said for head on collisions. Sure, it's great to stop, but it makes turning a car to get out of the way easier if it's moving.

They do have devices for cars that don't allow a drunk to drive ... it's called an interlock. Most people that have an interlock have probably had at least one DUI and in that case they are court ordered, although any one can buy one if they really want one.

The car isn't the one that causes accidents (unless there is a mechanical problem... it's the bozo who is driving the car.

Yeah and it's a great thing California now has that law forcing people to go hands free on their cell phones. I've seen even more people than ever yakking on their cells without the hands free device. So, see? Even if there is a law, there are a lot of people that could care less.

The car companies want a bailout so they can make cars to sell and this also keeps people employed in a failing economy. Sure, let's close all of the car factories down and fire them all tomorrow. They can all go on unemployment and if they are lucky, they will find another job before that unemployment checks stop coming. If the unemployment runs out, the can all go on welfare and then the tax payers can support them for a while. Yeeeeah...sounds like a plan (not).

66. Sorry folks, but if this "star" was drunk when driving, then it's at least a good thing it was her and not some innocent person that ate it. And yes, we should show some respect, but a whore is a whore is a whore, and no accident is going to change that. A bisexual twins reality show?! WTF?! Come on, if Queen was going to write a song about this, it'd be called "Another Whore Bites the Dust."

73. Wow that's sad. There really was nothing left of that car. My heart goes out to her family. At least MTV decided to do the honorable thing and take out any embarrassing shots of her. Even though I can't stand trash shows like that and I wont be watching it I always hate hearing about a waste of life.
