MTV Reality Star Killed in Car Wreck

TMZ has learned Kandice Hutchinson, one of the contestants kicked off the upcoming MTV dating show "A Double Shot at Love," died in a car accident a short while after taping her last appearance for the show.

We're told the producers of the show -- which features two bisexual twin sisters (above left ) looking for love -- edited her scenes to remove some of the more outrageous behavior, out of respect for the family. Sources close to the show tell us the producers have been in touch with the girl's family and they are supportive of MTV's plan to keep her in the show.

Launch photosAccording to KDFW in Texas, Hutchinson died on October 21 after her car was rear-ended causing Kandice to be ejected. Police said she died on the scene.

The first episode of "A Double Shot at Love" will be dedicated to her.

98. Seriously -- How can people say such harsh things when someone has passed away? And doesn't know them either. That is sad. She didn't ask to be rear-ended and as far as the pictures of what's left of the car.....wearing a seatbelt or not didn't look like it would have mattered. Would you like people to say that about one of your loved ones? NO! so seriously, stop your hatefulness. it's not very nice. Karma. Just remember that you have relatives too....

99. For the person that referred to the girl as a Whore, should be ashamed! The way that she presented herself should have no relevance to the fact that a young 22 year old girl is dead! And she has family that is dearly going to miss her! I am sure we all have done some stupid things in life, and you should not pass judgement. You really need to check your own self and see what skeletons are in your closet before you judge others!

100. This is so sad. I really feel bad for the ones she left behind to mourn her. And I don't understand why some of these posts are so heartless. A life was lost, and I certainly do not agree with anyone getting behind the wheel of a car after drinking, but we all make mistakes as we are human, and I am just thankful no one else was hurt.

104. I still am just shocked at the rude and hateful comments on here. You people did not even know Kandice... she was a wonderful person. Its people like you that make kids in school suicidal. The crap that kids have to go through is absolutely awful. Too skinny, you're anorexic, to fat, you're a cow.... don't hang with the popular crowd, you're a loser, don't play sports you get picked on.... and on and on and on. Which is much like Kandice in school. So she grew up, and lived life to the fullest. Are you doing the same? Can you honestly go to sleep at night knowing that you are living life to the fullest? So she lived her life HER way... You live your life YOUR way. Just cause she did things that weren't normal to you, doesn't mean she's a whore... she did things her way. Hmmm... you're completely heartless.... that was someone's baby. Somebody's daughter.... I bet you would love someone talking about your family that way. Or maybe you don't have family... because you're heartless. Absolutely disgusting.
