34. Prince is a legend. He still commands attention wherever he goes. Purple Rain might have been 20 years ago, but that's what makes him so great. Name more than a handful of artists you remember from the 80's who are still in the news regularly besides Prince, Madonna, and Michael Jackson (granted, Mike's press is for all the wrong reasons). Prince always gave his music and shows his all. Encores galore, dazzling concerts, and he's a multi-talented musician to boot. I don't think there's an instrument the man CAN'T play. So who should we worship now? A "relevant" 808 drum machine programming auto-tune using egomaniac like Kanye West, who's going around proclaiming he's now the voice of this musical generation? I think not... BTW, strictly hetero male here, however, since it was mentioned so much, I'll add my two-cents. Judging by all the beautiful women Prince has constantly bagged over the years, I'd say that bulge is 100% certified back-breaker material. He is definitely no Bonaduce

38. He's short. He wears high heels, tights with flared bottoms. He is as metro sexual as pixie dust....but he is an amazing performer and extremely talented song/music writer. Remember his song "Controversy". He addressed his issues at the time, "Am I black or white, am I straight or gay"... So he's used to this.

I have had the opportunity to get invited to a non public venue of his -(rhymes with comb), and he gave one of the most unforgettable performances that I have ever seen. He was as good if not better than any recorded event. Not too many entertainers these days are THAT talented. Unfortunately many need all the help for their "Studio" voices, and they don't write their own stuff.

42. I have been a major Prince fan for 25 years. I always thought he was the sexiest man alive...but lately he has just started to look silly. In 2004 he refused to go shirtless and said it as because no one wanted to see 40 year old skin. I have nothing against 40 year old chests but I do not want to see 50 year old dangly bits. If you think these pictures are weird you should see the outfit from the front...looks like he needs someone to dress him. Come on Prince, I am embarrassed FOR you.

44. Prince is and ALWAYS will be Prince! He is a legend, we are both the same age and I remember rocking to his music in college. His music was innovative and ground breaking. I think that Hollywood can make you put up your defensives and may make you appear to be arragront. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but he is The Artist! Rock on baby, you had it then and you have it NOW.
