Suri, There's a Santa Claus -- But He's Dead to You
NYPD pounced on Santa last night, as he approached Katie and Suri with full intent to cause cheer and goodwill.
Santa was apparently way too jolly.

Many celebrities live/work in NYC. Other Broadway stars manage to get in and out of the theater and restaurants in private. They manage to live fairly normal lives and not seek the limelight-especially with their children in tow. No sympathy from me.
As for blocking Santa..I have to agree. He could be a nut case. (It's not the real Santa you know. He is still at the North Pole).

63. The "Carl Winslow" look alike isn't in a cop uniform. Look at all the other cops...they don't have on hats & their patches are different. Another thing, I think Katie is brainwashed by that stupid a$$ Tom & she needs to leave him before her life is totally screwed up. Suri is a cute kid & its not her fault that her parents are doing what they are to her. I know that all parents want to protect their children, but they go TOO FAR!!! The only good movie that Tom ever made was "Risky Business" & it wasn't that good!!! Need some more opinions from me!!!

66. It still amazes me how much courtesy is extended to these Scientology superstars. Scientology isn't even a real religion and the US government has cracked down on them several times through the IRS for being a fraudulent organization operating as a church to avoid taxes with L. Ron Hubbard himself dying out of country with arrest warrants keeping him out of the USA. Most of Europe doesn't permit the organization to operate within its countries labeled as a cult or a tax-fraud-scheme. Eventually, the IRS is going to come down on these people hard. Not just the church itself but high profile members too.

68. Many people you would never get near your child on a normal day want jobs as Santa, and as Clowns, and many other kid friendly, sit on my lap jobs. The sad thing is some are child predators. katie's reaction to the overly friendly Santa was a very motherly protective one. Suri seems well cared for. She is always with her parents. i do not agree with Scientology but many people could learn good parenting lessons from Tom and Katie.

Just a thought ppl.....These ppl are celeBRATIES....That Santa could have been a stalker....In these times, I think,...We all need to be more aware...& I wouldn't want an over zealous Santa Claus Moving in on my 2 year old!!!! ....& for all the parents out there, how many of your very young kids cried when sitting on Santas Lap, & that was with prep....So imagine a 2 year NOT expecting some Scary looking Man in a Red suit coming after you, stepping into your ZONE!??.....I am glad they had the Rent a cop Or real one around to stop him from REALLY frighting the poor kid & then talk about later emotional problems!!
And to Teacher Lori, This is an opinion site not a place where you critique someones written words..I mean my goodness why don't you volunteer at a school or something, if you are so obsessed with ones spelling , punctuation & grammer.....

70. # 65 Ed, you said it best! I believe the IRS is deliberately dragging their feet on Scientology. What have they been afraid of? If you or I stepped out of line, in the slightest, they would check us out and scrutinize our returns for the past seven years, and beyond. Unfortunately for little Suri, she was born of two parents who worship the limelight more than they care to provide a normal, healthy atmosphere for their child. Parents usually protect their children, not exploit them for publicity.
