Vick's Incarceration Day Shopping Spree

12/7/2008 11:45 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Sometimes the day you report to jail can be the busiest shopping day of all.

Records now show that Falcons former quarterback Michael Vick blew through a staggering $201,840 on the day he reported to jail on felony dog fighting charges, according to AJC.com.

His "To Do List" that day looked something like this:

Buy new Mercedes -- $99,000
Cash Checks laying around house -- $24,900
Give money to mom of my oldest kid -- $28,000
Give "friend" some money -- $16,000
Misc. last minute impulse buys -- $10,940
Bunch of money to PR firm -- $23,000
NOTE: Find out what "PR" stands for.

Guess this sheds a bit more light on how he was able to burn through $18.2 million from 2006 to 2008.

...............Lynnette @ 5:05 pm.................Well, I thought you might be the one to reply.............I have thought over all you stated.............Vick has done a lot of things very wrong.............He has been doing these things for six years or more.........I feel that eliminates the "mistake" portion........six years is not a mistake, it is a business of torture to dogs for fun and money...........................The list of his other downfalls, supplied be a host of posters, shows that the man........judged by his lifestyle, choices, and activities,...............is a very low person on the scale of decency, honor, integrity, truthfulness..............All the other wrongs you list in the world do not pertain to Vick.......only Vick's activities pertain to Vick..........because Vick did those activities..............As to the length of sentence..............Vick's lawyer got him the 1st "deal" with the Federal so as not to have a trial by jury..............That jury trial would have gotten Vick 5 years at least..............His new lawyers got him the second "deal" with the state.............again, a jury trial would have got him another 5 years..........So, Vick did not get any thing near what he might have received.................Now, what about the lies to the public, the NFL, the high dollar sponsors, the Falcons, the players association, the banks, the mortage companies, and all the young kids that watch the football players in awe.............Another level of sub decency.................Now, about his loss of money.....................That goes with the conviction of a crime..............You don't get a gold star for being convicted of a terrible crime...............Now, about the dogs..............I don't think I need to explain how terrible that is to the majority of society.............the thing is, most of society does not even know about Vick or who he is or what he really did............By you saying that you don't condone his activity, just doesn't seem to be sincere enough because if it really troubled you, you would not support Vick in any shape or form................I personally want Vick to loose everything possible..........why?......................because he broke laws, he cheated people, he lied, he led a sorry ass life, he was given the chance of a lifetime and wasted it, he threw away the trust given him by society, he has children by unmarried women, and I don't care about the football..........That is nothing in the grand scheme of life................AND.........he killed dogs for fun, money, laughs....................Some parts of society, do not yet realize, just what that means.............The natural progression of things would indicate that man will someday quit harming animals...........especilally dogs..........we domesticated them and owe them a decent existence..................I appreciate your reply, but I cannot tell you how much hate there is for Vick...................I will do all possible to keep Vick out of the NFL............and anything else I find him doing..............The only thing I wish, was that all 303 million Americans would know the Vick story entirely............My only suggestion to you is stop and think a little more............if you still have empathy for Vick, then ask yourself why.......................Vick does not deserve anything.............ever...........

Vick is a worthless piece of S---, breathing mass of flesh that will hopefully be killed in prison! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER should he be allowed to play any sort of sport again!!!!!!!! Nor, should he ever be allowed to own an animal, other than one of his own kind again! He is a worthless, slimy, self-absorbed, decaying POS. I and ALL of my family, extended family, friends, neighbors, and any once else can convince will NOT purchase any products by the above suppliers or the NFL EVER again if it is even hinted that this FOOL will be playing again. Animals give nothing but pure Love, Vick gives nothing but pure DEATh and that is what he deserves, If this FOOL gets out of prison he had best watch out for people, not dogs, they will be out to get this worthless POS!!

Lynette your #23 that you refer to refers to the nothing that you are. Vick will not play for the NFL again, I assure you:)
The celebrity status of professional athletes doesn't entitle them to any special rights, privileges or treatment under the law. Lynette, I ask you again, do you know how to electrocute a dog? VICK does. He took PLEASURE in the pain and suffering of animals and even pets! This is just part of his laudry list of wrong -doings he is rsponsible for that should keep him out of the NFL for good!

AGAIN: Vick was administered a polygraph test by the FBI in October 2007 and denied taking part in the killing of dogs in mid-April. When told he had failed that part of the test, Vick recanted his story and admitted to helping hang six to eight underperforming dogs.

13. Sandra Brooks - I don't care what you think of me. This is the damn internet...
You are probably one of those dirty women who practice beastiality! You talk as if you want to lay down with a damn pit bull!! LOL

You are beyond revolting. Is this pervision something you practice?

Odd. You seem to have experience with said practice.

LOL, Bella, do you mean 'perversion"? If that's what you meant, the answer is no.

I'm 'beyond revolting', yet you continue to post to me or about me. You appear to be quite interested in what I do. So let me answer both questions, no I do not participate in beastiality, and no, I am not a lesbian. Hopefully I've covered all of the questions and concerns you have about me and or my experiences. LOL Have a great night.

No. 20: I love your wording, "...unnecessary human being." In fact, I'm going to adopt that from now on.

"For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love." - Pythagoras, mathematician

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
"To my mind, the life of a lamb is no less precious than that of a human being." - Mahatma Gandhi, statesman and philosopher

Life is life no matter to whom it belongs. Re our soldiers at war, those men and women took the calculated risk when they signed on the dotted line. These poor dogs had no choice. Still, I pray for the soldiers and animals alike. What Vick did was wrong and it broke my heart. For animal lovers, go to www.airunlimited.net for a lovely animal story. Dogs stay like babies their entire lives. They are dependent upon us for everything.

#45 Sandra Brooks

You are in no position to assure me of anything pertaining to Michael Vick's future. Thanks anyway.

You asked me if I know how to electrocute a dog. The answer is 'YES'. Anyone with common sense and/or knowledge of basic science knows how to electrocute a dog. :-)
Based on the NFL's record of second chances (Adam Jones, Jamal Lewis, Tank Johnson, Chris Henry, Cedric Benson, Jimmy Smith....etc) Michael Vick will be given another opportunity. There is a slew of convicts playing professional sports. So I'm not sure why you think otherwise.

Lynette, Vick is in a class by himself period. Other players have made mistakes. What Vick did were not mistakes for one minute!
