Fergie's Prom Date -- Guilty-licious

Fifteen years later: Fergie makes bank -- and her old prom date is guilty of robbing one.

Vincent Dean Malicek was convicted today of one count armed bank robbery and faces up to 98 months in the slammer.

Vincent was busted back in September after a surveillance camera caught him robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Santa Ana, Calif. with a silver handgun.

19. Please remember that the only evidence presented by the Prosecution was a photo that resembles Dean. However, it does not look exactly like Dean. Dean wears his hair very short all of the time. The bank robber has some type of birthmark on his right cheek. There were photos in court that the public has not seen. You can clearly see that the bank robber was much smaller than Dean. The original descriptions by the tellers were completely opposite of Dean (23, green eyes, slight build). Since there was no coverage of the trial, if anyone doubts the true facts, post your requests and I will get Dean's website up and as soon as the transcripts are ready, I will make them available on line. Absolutely no one will understand how the jury found him guilty. DNA along with other evidence proved his innocence. All of the research that I found stated that Orange County juries find the Defendant guilty 85% of the time. Apparently Dean is now in that 85%. Our prisons are overcrowed and there are some individuals that are truly innocent. Our system is corrupt and if you do not cooperate with the government...chances are that you will go to prison wheather you are guilty or innocent. Dean has accepted his fate and believes that it is karma for his past behavior. He did not rob a bank, but he says he will make the best of a horrible injustice. The bank robber will show up again. It is too bad that the FBI is not competent enough to catch real bank robbers. Wasn't it just a little too easy to arrest someone that looks like the bank robber? A person who had been helping his Aunt move in next door to the Ralphs Grocery Store and Wells Fargo Bank...the store and bank that he had been to on several occassions before and after the robbery? No one is that stupid, especially Dean. The people that know him will tell you this. Plus, he is not a criminal. He had access to $100,000.00, it would have taken less than a month for funds to be available, why rob a bank? Nothing about this case makes sense. And since Dean cannot read these posts...try to be somewhat respectful. I just lost my only child. There are some real idiots posting and it really is unneccessary. Thanks.

20. Did they really sentence him to 98 months? Can you appeal?

Posted at 12:35PM on Dec 10th 2008 by Chris

21. He hasn't been sentenced yet. We'll see what happens

22. Deans Mom:
Why don't you elaborate more on the evidence presented in the case, and the one piece from the prosecution that may have swayed the jurys opinion towards their decision of guilt?
Tell everyone about the taped conversation that you had with your son, showcased in court, that probably scuttled his chances of acquittal.
You keep belly aching on another thread here at TMZ about the unfainess of it all, the lack of evidence, the biased judge, the lying prosecution, yadda, yadda, yadda, and then, then you sink his ship with your own brand of inept alibi tapering. If he were innocent, then why the need to fabricate and lie about his alibi? Funny that you had the balls to whine about your mother being called a liar, when in fact, you proved in that converstaion that it was so.
So it would appear to have been a Duel of Liars in that courtroom, if the Feds were lying also, and then it follows that the very best liar won.

Final Analysis: Your conspiracy theory tends to leave out your culpability in yet another conspiracy theory.

23. Hey Bulls**t can you tell us the real story and when the sentencing is going to be. After reading his moms post I thought he was not guilty. thanks

24. So, what you are saying is that my son is in jail because we both thought that my mother's apartment is in Monrovia and not Duarte? If the prosecutor knew this and let an innocent man be convicted of armed bank robbery...who is the real criminal? Dean just called and I asked him to repeat the recorded conversation. I called my step-daughter and asked her the same thing. Both repeated the 10 second clip word for word. Dean specifically stated that he was in Monrovia at MeMe's house. He has called my mother MeMe since he was a baby. Therefore, you ignorant moron...the conversation proved his innocence. The jury was just too stupid to put it together, but wait...the attorney told them this in his closing argument. I guess what they say about jurors is true. Not to worry, Dean is doing fine. He said he is paying for past mistakes and he finally feels guilt free. That is my son and I admire him and I am proud of him. Maybe you should be more concerned about the facts rather than a "grand performance."

25. He is living guilt-free now? Missing out watching his kid grow up is living guilt free and you say your proud of him.... Come On get real.he shouldnt be at peace now he has a child he will miss grow up and then he will have too explain why he wasn't there. Kids don't understand that, all they want is there parents they dont care what the excuse is

26. Guilt can destroy lives. Kids don't remember much before the age of 4. Dean will be a much better father when he gets out. As for getting real...I know what life is all about. I have seen it all. Children need well-adjusted, happy families to grow up in a crazy world without any damaging effects. The biggest problem our world faces is that anyone can have a child. Why do you think that there are so many people in prison, so many children in foster care, so many abandoned children, so many abused children, so many runaways? It is really a shame that children can't choose their parents. I am proud of my son for so many reasons. His attitude and strength regarding his situation is suprising. I wonder how many people out there could walk in his shoes and stay sane, focused and funny? He is doing what has to be done. The cards were dealt. How else should he act? What else should he do? Perhaps I should bake him a cake with a file in it...

27. stop the forkin' presses! are you you out of your ever lovin mind ma'am?
you cliam this guy (your son supposedly) was unjustly found guilty on faulty, and non existant evidence. you say the prosecution lied, you say the jusge was unfair, the jury dumb as rocks, additionally you say he is INNOCENT of the robbery and yet you say he will not appeal?
excuse me, but this has fgot to be a supreme troll job here at tmz because there are not two people as stupid as you portray you and your son to be, waisting good air, and walking around without a straight jacket even here in california where there is one of everything.
maybe he shopuld be elected to sainthood, he can be known as "vinnie of_____ "(whatever town he is from), and so ordained as the patron saint of idiots!
stop the madness please, this cannot be for reals.

28. With all do respect I think you are now living in denial. Kids do remember things as a baby and who ever told you from 4 on is a complete idiot. I have a child and she remembers everything. Things you say and others say regarding the case don't add up. If I didn't do this, you better believe I would do everything in my power to fight for my freedom because I have a child in this world that didn't ask too be here. I understand there is corruption in the court system just like there is corruption everywhere and the sad part is people in the court system treat people as a case number instead as a person. But when you are found guilty and will be serving up too 98 months in prison not being able too see your kid walk, talk and etc. for the first time and your not going to appeal it blows my mind. You say guilt can destroy lives...well so can resentment. You say its really a shame kids can't choose their parent, do you actually think your grandchild would pick your son for his selfish behavior taking away from his son up to 98 months. Its one thing if he was only doing this too himself by he has affected others into the mix especially his son. I surely would know where my mother lives and my daughter is 3 and understands where grandma is so how you couldn't remember like Dean is beyond fishy. Don't get me wrong, I honestly thought Dean wasn't capable of something as stupid as this. Is he childish, immature, jevenile, absessive about things, funny and selfish? YES. Here are some things I remember the latest about your son.Do you know the reason why he was fired from Omaha Jacks in rancho cucamonga? It was because he was stalking a female manager. Dean and I went too Huntington Beach and he drove, went too a bar and he said he was getting something out of his truck and dissappeared and never came back. I had too take a cab from Huntington Beach to Upland. Costly mistake letting him drive. I'm not here too bad mouth him but you are putting him as some saint that you can't believe how well he is taking all this. More importantly, how is the child taken all this not knowing when he will see his dad. A mothers love is a mother's love, they will always defend there children like father to the ending of time even when they did something wrong. But seriously don't keep saying he is innocent and will serve his time because its from his past screw ups and not this one. It doesn't make sense and honestly makes you look not very bright. Dean is the only one that knows if he did this or not, not any of us and I hope for his sake after he finishes his sentence he will be free and clear of drugs and perhaps be a drug counslor and let them know this is what your life will be like if you continue too do drugs. What a shame!!!!

29. Coming Attraction of the soon to be released movie: "Forst Dump"

Opening scene, wide camera shot from ceiling level, looking down on a man sitting on the edge of his bunk at a Federal Detention Center. The man sits with his knees together, staring vacantly at the wall, on his lap is a lidless shoe box.

A guard escorts a new prisoner (a very large black male) through the cell door. The prisoner is wearing a Guitar Hero T-Shirt. The new prisoner drops to the floor, his back against the wall that the sitting man is staring at.

The man on the bunk speaks:

"Hello. My name's Forst, Forst Dump. People call me Forst Dump."

The man replies:

"My given name is Benny Blue, but people call me "Bubba". Just like one o' them ol' redneck white boys; can you believe that?"

Forst continues:

"That looks like a com-fortable T-Shirt.
Momma always says there's an awful lot you could tell about a person by their T-Shirt. What they robbed. And where they's going after trial. I've worn lots of T-Shirts, AND (now his voice rises to a scream, audible 3 blocks away at a Federal Judge's private quarters) I KNOW I HAVE NEVER HAD OR WORN A T-SHIRT LIKE THAT ONE!"

Bubba, sitting on the floor, covers his ears until the yelling stops, then says:

"What are you, stupid or something?"

Forst:

"Momma always says stupid is what gets you on a Jury!"

The camera comes down to floor level just as Forst offers the box (which is full of KY Jelly, and rubbers) to Bubba:

Forst:

Would you like a rub-ber? Mama always says you should use rub-bers 'cause you never know what you are gonna get if you don't."

And that's all I have to say about that.

30. Hi everyone. Kinda new to this however, Dino is my step-brother and I would just like to say a couple things. Me and him aren't the closest, but I have been there in the court room for this situation. I haven't heard any real evidence. Ya he looks like him, but looking like someone and being someone is different. Show me something that proves it is him. My brother isn't that man in the pic. I know this. Monrovia and Duarte run so close to eachother that anyone can get them confused. Don't you think if someone robs a bank that they would have a alibi in place? Seriously! You really think that my step mom was the one that casued this? Ya right, get real...she loves him and yes she would do anything for him, but I know her and I have knowing her for a very long time, she wont lie for him. Dino is a ass sometimes but does that make you a bank robber? DNA said it wasn't him. Its scary to think that 10 people can decide your fate. The D.A. was really strong, however what they did in there was wrong. I can't speak on behalf of my brother but I will say what I think. He is going to appeal. It's a process but we are going to go out with a fight. Anyways, thats my view and unless you were in that court room there is no room for you to judge.
