6. Nobody has to put up with cold sores on the mouth anymore. There is a lipstick product called Herpecin L. God awful name, but when used daily will decrease outbreaks and their severity. I have used to for so long, I don't get outbreaks anymore at all.

8. Not all Herpes is sexually transmitted. Don't get excited over a few blisters.

One in five Amercians has Herpes, many don't even know it.

Most people just have one little outbreak and that's it.

12. Those stupid "Abstinence Only " programs by the Christian right have disseminated all sorts of misinformation over the past eight years in order to scare kids away from having sex.

We all carry bacteria in our bodies, you can' get away from it. Herpes is not the same as venereal warts or HIV.
