31. Pedestrians have the right of way and what, that will stop oncoming traffic from hitting them? PA-Leez.

She had the right of way BUT MANY PEDESTRIANS MAKE THE WRONG CHOICE AND DON'T LOOK BOTH WAYS. If the light is green, you see a speeding TRUCK, do you challenge the TRUCK as a pedestrian? HEL-LO!!!!!

NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO IMPEDE THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. PEDS SHOULDN'T INSIST ON THE RIGHT OF WAY BUT I SEE THEM DODGE CARS EVERY DAYAS IF THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT AS PEDS! I mean, S-E-R-I-O-U-S-L-Y...

32. Roger, thanks to me you changed it from "sulken" to "sulkin". Yet, you are still a giant f-tard. I hope that the worst of all possible things happen to you. You are pathetic and disgusting (and a total moron; you had to repeat your joke, yet had to use my correction - fumbduck!!!).

33. Morbid, much?

Why would you post something like this? Show a little decency and respect.

34. was this at 2 to 3 am last night? I live in the Wilshire COrridors, which is close to UCLA and loud sirenes woke me up. It's a shame, I did not even pray. Usually when I hear an ambulance I pray, because indeed you never know, if someone is struggling for their life in there. It was real loud coming from Brentwood direction. This is awful. I am pretty sure that must have been her ambulance.
How sad. I remember thinking what on earth could have happened, since rarely ever are there sirens at night waking you up.

36. PEDESTRIANS SHOULD ALWAYS BE GRANTED THE RIGHT OF WAY BECAUSE A FRAIL HUMAN BODY IS NO MATCH FOR TWO TONS OF SPEEDING STEEL. EVEN IF A HUMAN BODY IS "IMPEDING THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC", WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO, RUN THEM OVER TO "TEACH 'EM A LESSON"? COME ON NOW, COMMON SENSE DICTATES YOU DRIVE SAFELY, SLOW DOWN, AND WAIT UNTIL THE PEDESTRIAN IS SAFELY OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE YOU PROCEED.

37. I don't have a car now, but when I did, I always stopped for pedestrians. People, I hope this brings awareness to watch out for pedestrians.. I look both ways and then both ways again. You never know when a car will come out of nowhere. Where I live is a major street, here in Orange county. Just a year ago, a neighber started to cross the street, emerging from 2 parked cars. He was hit by a truck, unfortunately and died. So sad... My thoughts and prayers go out to the Culkin Family.. so sad to lose a loved one at a young age...

38. This is a terrible tragedy and her family has my sympathy. I have driven in that area numerous times. It is like someone already posted,Lincoln Blvd is like six lanes. She made a fatal mistake to try and cross there, I know people probably do it all the time but, she should have taken the time and used a cross walk or stop light area. Even doing that you have to pay attention to the traffic. To the person who wrote that ped's always have the right of way, your wrong. You can't just dart out in the street and expect the cars just to come to a sudden stop. Ped's have to watch out and follows the rules also.

41. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to the entire McCulkin Family. What a shame and a tragedy so close to X-mas and period for that matter. I can't imagine how the family feels. May the entire family be blessed abundantly as they deal with such a sadness. Please know that everyone who reads this site holds your entire family in their prayers .....

43. Not to be mean but I wonder if a cell phone was involved..Either the driver or the Culkin girl. I think it's really out of control with the texting & talking all the time.. God bless the family.
