Pol: J. Lo Just as Good as JFK's Kid for Senate

A New York pol has had the gall to suggest Jennifer Lopez is just as qualified as Caroline Kennedy to serve in the US Senate.

Queens Rep. Gary Ackerman told WOR radio yesterday, "I wouldn't make J. Lo the senator unless she proved she had great qualifications, but we haven't seen them yet." Gov. David Paterson has reportedly contacted Kennedy about taking over Hillary Clinton's Senate seat.

Kennedy has been the director of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the Commission on Presidential Debates, among other things.

18. Neither one of them has the qualifications for much of anything. Kennedy was the director of the NAACP legal defense fund so working for a bunch of clowns only qualifies her to work in a circus. Maybe she could work for Ringling Brothers but not the Senate. They already have too many clowns.
JoLo would at least look good but the problem is she would be sitting on her best qualifications. She belongs bent over a desk, not in one.
Surely there’s a qualified woman in that state if the goal is to replace Hillary with a female.
