It really is sad that there are still so many ignorant people that are angry that our country is going to get better (hopefully). Seriously I cannot imagine anyone thinking what Bush did to us was good, but you idiots would prefer the majority of the country be homeless and jobless than to stand behind the man that your fellow Americans voted into office?? Seriously?

23. Regardless of what protocol is that's sort of what the story meant by the Obama's asking to be let in early. For a president that has approval ratings lower than Nixon did when he left office, has made the rest of the world hate us, and put our country into a serious recession with more debt than in our countries history...yeah just not so sure they've earned that right for those "receptions and gatherings".

They should due us all a favor and get out of office early let alone let the Obama girls stay in a house 10 days early while they start school rather than in a hotel....give me a break.

For the sake of your little argument, nowhere does it say the President has to be a Christian. If that issue were to come up, the President-elect would simply say "I solemnly affirm". And anyway, Bush put his hand on the bible and swore to uphold the Constitution....and when that did not happen he wasn't struck by lightning. So I would not worry about the bible being or not being used if I were you...apparently it does not matter.
