No One Wants Vick's Doghouse

File this under Big Surprise: The Virginia house where Michael Vick forced dogs to fight can't be sold, even at a low, low price.

It was up for auction yesterday in Virginia, and no qualified bidders showed, so it's still available. The guy who snapped up the 4600-sq. ft. property after Vick was indicted on dogfighting charges originally wanted a mil for the place, but set the minimum bed yesterday at $590K. Seven people actually turned up, but none of them had the $20,000 cashier's check required, so they were turned away.

Vick's been in the big house in Leavenworth since this summer.

46. ................The story of the two men in Los Angeles sent to prison for animal cruelity and dog fighting..........have all the same items as the Vick story did.........All the same treatment of dogs........All the same excuses............All the same, "I am so remorseful"................Yeah, that they got caught............Or they would still be doing it..................All the same stuff that it was cultural because they were from Louisana..............Remember Gerald Poindexter dropped the "animal cruelity" charge, because it carried a 5 year sentence and he did not think Vick was such a bad person...............I hope he is voted out of office next go round.................Virginia citizens, please vote Poindexter out...............He is not worthy of the job........................All of Virginia cannot be like Vick and Poindexter...............

49. to all of you morons who attack Vick for the dog fighting (although animals lives are valuable), I have not heard anyone of you asking for the people who lied to lead us to war and the death of countless number of people to be held accountable...
if Vick gets a year and a half, I wonder how many Rumsfeld, Cheney, Powell (although he didnt want to go to war with Iraq) and Bush will get? have they not committed war crime, crime against humanity?

50. Come one PEOPLE, yes torturing animals is WRONG, but not tantamount to killing PEOPLE. Let it go, and let HIM go. Every year, there are stories of human treatment of animals WAY WORSE than what went on at the Vick house. But does PETA get all worked up about it? NO. Why? Because THEY ARE AMBULANCE CHASERS. Their silly attempt at a Superbowl ad is proof of that.
