Plaxico Comes Out of Hiding for The Homeless

Plaxico BurressPlaxico Burress emerged last night -- making his first public appearance since accidentally shooting himself in the right thigh two weeks ago.

The suspended receiver attended a charity fundraiser at a nightclub last night in NYC, along with his wife and son. Burress didn't discuss his ongoing legal woes, only saying he was only there to support the event.

Burress has been suspended for the rest of the regular season, and faces criminal possession of a weapon charges. He is due back in court March 31, and has pleaded not guilty. He is currently free on $100,000 bail.
