Bush: Click to view!
During a news conference in Baghdad today, an Iraqi reporter launched two Nike missiles at President George Bush -- but he didn't quite have the accuracy to record a strike.

16. I heard that in the Arab culture, the soles of a shoe is the biggest insult there is.
Whether you like or dislike President Bush, he is still our President. American's should be insulted by this. He represents the United States, in my eyes, the reporter insulted all of us too.

19. There isn't enough time left in the universe for enough Bush Bashing. It takes a speciaol kind of IDIOT to ruin the ENTIRE GLOBAL ECONOMY. It's not enough his actions have cause untold deaths of the world's children and left untold children parentless, but now people are losing their houses and abilities to feed their families due to his actions.

20. If it wasn't for President Bush, that coward would probably still be making sure to be extremely careful that he only wrote news praising Saddam, otherwise have to live in hole all his life or have some limbs chopped of. What a piece of garbage.

Democracy doesn't happen over night. But we already see the footholds it is beginning to take in Iraq. History will vindicate the President. Right now, we have an extremely liberal media that hates anything conservative or anything that espouses any type of values. All they did was just bash the President around every corner. And with that we have liberal junkie kool aid drinkers just lapping up the fiction that supports their "progressive" views. We'll see what history has to say. When Truman left office, the kool aid drinkers hated him too. It takes fortitude to do what is right.

23. Larry, you are exactly right
All I know is, we have not been attacked since 911..there have been attempts, but they have all failed, our President put our safety first, and he did what he had to do. People just don't see that. They will, years from now.

24. 15. Don't blame the guy, different people voice thier frustration using different ways, this guy opted to throw his shoes on someone who have done more harm to the world than good, yet I feel bad for Bush, he will go down in history as the worst president ever , his tenure will be remembered for how he tarnished the US image , Iraq war, Guantanamo and Katrina.

Um, pal, hate to break this to you, but we live in a democracy. Not a dictatorship, a communist regime, or fascist state, like the one you appear to be advocating. How about you take a read of a pamphlet called the US Constitution and learn a little more about the country you live in.

If you want to live in a place where dissent of your government isn't tolerated, maybe it's YOU who should leave the U.S.

Bush has absolutely no chance of going down as the worst president ever once everyone realizes that Obama will not run the country ANY differently.

During the election, the exit polls showed that a majority of voters were voting for Obama to end the war in Iraq and bring the troops home.

Obama will not end the war any faster than Bush would have, as Iraq is dictating the withdrawal terms. Obama will not end the war, as he is already paving the way to send several more brigades, from Iraq, to Afghanistan.

You are all fools. Fools who actually know the truth but choose to ignore it. The country is not run by the President, nor is policy dictated by the President. The President has always been, and will always be, a spokesman. The public face of this country. The scapegoat. The majority of decisions that led us down this path, currently blamed on Bush, were chosen by the people, by the senate, and by congress. The war in Iraq was not Bush's whim. It was a joint upholding of UN sanctions which, other than the fact that the US IS the UN army, had nothing to do with the US. This is all fact, indisputable fact, that is readily ignored.

The WMD fiasco is still blamed on Bush. Why? Because you people are intentionally ignorant. Mi6 and Putin's intelligence confirmed WMD which led the UN to force the subject of inspections, which led to Saddam ousting the inspectors, which led to UN giving the US the authority to act on the UN's behalf. None of which really has ANYTHING to do with Bush.

It's so ridiculous to see most of you up in arms over the war in Iraq, while we should be in other places freeing people who need to be freed. What you don't understand is that you can't deny one liberation for another and call the liberators villains because of it. We freed Iraq. I've served 2 tours in Iraq and 1 visit after discharge as a civilian contractor. Iraq is not only better off, the PEOPLE know it. They agree with it. Oh yes, we have a reporter who throws shoes. What about the hundreds and thousands of rejoicing Iraqi's parading Saddam's statue head around the city? Does that not have more merit than a reporter throwing a shoe? Or a liberal media organization reporting 'anonymous iraqi' disapproval? You are hypocrites of the worst kind and you are content with that.

The sad truth is that the pathetic are the majority, things will never change because you people are fickle and ignorant. It is more important to demean someone with what you believe is right, than to actually BE right.

Obama isn't going to magically make the people of this country grow a conscious. Nothing will change and you only have yourselves to blame for your stupidity and pathetic ignorance.

27. I am so sick of TMZ and your political slant, as well as every liberal who commented on this story. Has anybody ever noticed how liberals/democrats react to stories vs. how republicans react? Liberals are EXTREMELY mean spirited and I'm so tired of it!

I can have it any way I want. Until you have a spouse who is gone more than he is home, and spends 14 months in that hell hole watching his comrades get BLOWN UP while standing right in front of you, then you will be allowed to contradict my comment, until then, SHUT THE F*CK UP! What kind of name is dirk diggler anyway? Too scared to share your real name? I'm not!

29. **Free**
I hear you, people are on here cheering for the guy that threw the shoe!
They should be condemning him for doing what he did. GW is our President!
Show some respect...you don't have to like his politics to show him respect.

30. Us democrats only have ourselves to blame for Bush's mistakes, He wouldn't of been able to make them if democrats went out and voted in 2004! That's the hard reality.
