52. Say what you want; it is a free country, but Presdent Bush did his job in his tenure as President. Have we had another 9/11. Nope. And for all the librals that like to bash the Republicans, the economy is the fault of our house and senate that is controlled by the Dems. Look it up for the true facts, not your beliefs. And until you lazy, ungrateful Americans actually go to Iraq, shut up about the war. I spent 24 months deployed over there, probably 24 months more than 99 percent of the people that post on here. You have no clue on what really has or actually goes on. I bet you didn't know that Soldiers reenlist more over there than they do back here in the states. Yep, and right after they had been hit by an IED and hospitalized. I will tell you why, because we have a purpose over there; besides oil. Oh, and look at your newly President Elect. Why are the Dems starting to worry about his flip flopping on his stances he had before the election. Wow!

The reason he threw his shoe is in the Iraqi culture it is viewed as an extreme form of disrespect to hit someone with the bottom of your shoe. it may seem ridiculous to you but to them it is a very crude way to disrespect a a person. do you remember when bahgdad fell the statue of saddam was toppled everyone was taking off their shoes a hitting the statue in the face? that is why. just thought i would offer an explanation as to why he threw shoes.....
