Now Mike Vick Wants to Get Rid of Cats, Too

Michael Vick admitted to killing dogs that didn't perform; now he's trying to dump a couple of cats that he's not going to be needing anytime soon.

A new doc in his bankruptcy case shows Vick is trying to unload a couple of World Cat boats estimated to be worth around $165K for the pair -- he needs the cash to pay back his debts, say lawyers.

Best line in the filing, a Hail Mary of laughable proportions: "Upon his release, the Debtor [that's MV] ... will seek to rebuild his life and professional football career."

62. I was saddened today when I read the many unkind things that were being said on this blog. I'm not a blog person. In fact, this is my first time ever leaving a comment on a blog. I came across this blog when I googled to find out if Michael Vick would be released from prison soon and have the possibility of playing in the NFL again.

God has given everyone a special gift (a special talent), even you. Sometimes we use those gifts in ways that are not pleasing to God and to others. Those gifts are given to us to bring honor to God. When we don't use them in the manner in which they were intended, God knows how to change that (like he changed Paul on the road to Damascus).

Michael Vick has a gift for playing football and perhaps other gifts that we don't even know. Maybe what he is experiencing now is his road to Damascus. I sure hope so. If so, there is nothing the NFL, you, or anyone else can do about it. If God's plan is to use him in the NFL, he will be used in that way. If God's plan is to use him outside of the NFL, he will be used in that way.

My prayer is that all of you already know or will know what your special gift is and what God's plan is for your life. I hope that you will use your gift to bring honor to God so that you will experience the peace, joy and love that comes with it.

I wish all of you a wonderful love-filled day.
