Ed McMahon Has a Home for the Holidays -- His

Ed McMahonFear not little children, Ed McMahon won't be homeless on Christmas.

TMZ has learned Foreclosure Trackers, an Orange County company, has negotiated a new mortgage loan for Ed that will allow him to be able to make the mortgage payments -- and not get kicked to the curb.

McMahon's home fell into foreclosure earlier this year. At one point, Donald Trump stepped in to help, but that fell through.

Ed's rep had no comment.

16. Hey #16, Tromba, oh yeah and numnuts Jim! The Federal Government monitors every PENNY of charitable donations, and, at NO CHARGE, make their findings available to the PUBLIC!!!! Yes, that even means YOU, Jim. If you would like to check out what the Federal Government says about MDA, you will be SURPRISED and would beg forgiveness from Jerry Lewis and Ed McMahon. The charity that ranks BEST for percentage of cash collected that goes TO people NEEDING the help is-----guess what?-----MDA. Look it up for yourself! I did. That's why I volunteer to work with it every year.

17. 15. this proves one thing. no one really cares about anybody even if you were once rich and famous. where are all eds old time big rich hollyweird pals now?

It's safe to assume that most of them are dead. How old is this man? Pushing 100?

Why is he so adamant about keeping this over-sized home he cannot afford? Like some of the other posters have said, go buy a cheaper home or go live in a retirement community. One thing is left to question though....what the hell happened to all that money of his? While the rest of us are saving money and planning for our future and retirement, seems like these rich people are just spending, spending, spending and then when they reach an age where they can no longer work for more money they start looking for sympathy from the media.

18. Is Ed a victum of the ARM mess? Did he refinance to use equity and put himself on unsound footing? I hope he didn't mortage his tomorrows for stuff today.

19. Man, it must be incredibly embarrassing to have your dirty financial laundry aired in public. It's hard to fee sympathy once you see pictures of his home and read stories of his gold digging wife's excesses. I agree with what most reasonable people are saying -- rent a small home until he can unload that place, then buy a modest home. The only people who “deserve” mega-mansions are those who can legitimately afford them. I guess he can’t bring himself to live with “the common folk.”

21. Now I can sleep tonight.
Are we really supposed to care about someone as rich as him, who can't pay his mortgage? Why does he have a mortgage anyway? His wife should get a damn job.

22. Wait...he can afford to pay a "rep" but he can't afford to pay his mortgage? WTF? How about living in a normal two bedrrom house and not a mansion? Pitiful.

23. I think Johnny Carson's widow should have kicked in some money...she was left millions and would have helped him out and gave her some good karma...think Johnny would have done that if he were alive.
