"Price Is Right" Miracle, Drew Couldn't Care Less

One of the most unbelievable things ever happened on the set of the yesterday's "Price is RIght" -- some dude nailed the price of his showcase to the exact dollar -- and host Drew Carey couldn't have looked more bored.

The Price is Right: Click to watch
No one has pulled off an exact bid in more than 30 years -- plus, the dude had already won $500 in cash for nailing the exact price of a cooker earlier in the show -- but after the showcase stunner, Drew was more fired up to talk about spaying and neutering pets.

A TMZ spy who happened to be in the audience during the taping says when Drew knew the guy hit the exact number, he stopped down taping and had a pow-wow with show producers for nearly 30 minutes. Our spy thinks they were trying to figure out how to handle the situation on camera. Unfortunately, when they resumed taping, Drew's reaction was a little less than spectacular -- while the crowd went insane.

Maybe in another 36 years, he'll show a little more excitement.

LOL Me too! I thought he was resurrected or something.

LOL I thought the same thing. I thought they had resurrected him or something. Like when Cobra brought Serpentor to life.

48. I like Drew and he was good hosting the other game shows but he's not right for this one. His voice is just too soft and low and he lacks Bob's enthusiasm. He didn't want the job in the first place. Why not give it to someone who REALLY wanted it . Maybe they should change hosts like they do models and have female and non-white hosts for a change. Variety is the spice of life.

49. That is too damn weird!! How does anyone guess the exact price tags---TWICE??! Someone must have told him in advanced about the numbers because he didn't seem all that excited himself.

Yeah, Drew is a bore. And I agree with another poster, Bob would've brought the house down MUCHO enthusiasm.

53. Drew is the WORST "Price is Right" host EVER! I think that CBS should fire drew and get someone more interesting.

54. Obviously something is fishy here, and Drew knows it. Remember Press your Luck and the cheater they had there? Again something is not right here!

55. As to Drew's sore foot, the show from yesterday was originally planned to be aired in November, so it is out of sequence with the shows where Drew is sporting a cane. I can only guess that Drew's reaction was fueled by his feeling that the guy cheated, but they couldn't prove it so they had to give him both showcases.

58. For those of you wondering how it's possible to know the exact price of everything...

...well, no one's going to know EVERYTHING (note that Teddy didn't even win his pricing game), but the show does recycle prizes repeatedly. All three prizes had been used on the show several times before, so it's very possible that someone who watches every day might eventually recognize that the karaoke machine that was the first prize in Teddy's showcase was $1,000, for instance. It just so happens that one of the guys in the audience that this guy was looking to knew all three prizes in that Showcase.

And, I have to ask...for a show that practically ASKS all of its contestants to look to the audience to tell them what to bid, why wouldn't you EXPECT someone in the audience to realize "Hey, I've seen this trailer before..."?

60. Something is wrong here. Here is this black lady who was on the dot and had for sure won. She was not even $500 off. And all of a sudden this white man guesses the EXACT amount for the prizes. A little suspicious to me and not cool. I really hope that I am wrong on this one. That sucks!!
