"Price Is Right" Miracle, Drew Couldn't Care Less

One of the most unbelievable things ever happened on the set of the yesterday's "Price is RIght" -- some dude nailed the price of his showcase to the exact dollar -- and host Drew Carey couldn't have looked more bored.

No one has pulled off an exact bid in more than 30 years -- plus, the dude had already won $500 in cash for nailing the exact price of a cooker earlier in the show -- but after the showcase stunner, Drew was more fired up to talk about spaying and neutering pets.

A TMZ spy who happened to be in the audience during the taping says when Drew knew the guy hit the exact number, he stopped down taping and had a pow-wow with show producers for nearly 30 minutes. Our spy thinks they were trying to figure out how to handle the situation on camera. Unfortunately, when they resumed taping, Drew's reaction was a little less than spectacular -- while the crowd went insane.

Maybe in another 36 years, he'll show a little more excitement.

62. #27 is right. I looked at the link he provided. That explains it. I have watched some of the ones with Drew. I think he seems honestly excited for people. Especially the night-time million dollars shows.

63. Drew's a fat slob from my hometown, but a pretty good guy. OK, so Drew's no Bob...but Rosie O'Donnell? Really? REALLY? Her talk show lasted--one show? go her. Anyways, Drew may not be the best for the show, but he's in no way the worst. And doesn't he get SOME credit for being in the Marine Corps? That's gotta be good for SOMETHING.

64. pir...please replace drew carey with someone else!!!!!!!! there will never be another bob barker...but find someone who loves the show & is not just doing it for a paycheck or take it off the air. btw, i don't even watch it anymore since bob retired.

65. How in the world did the guy get BOTH prices exact. I mean once in a show I can see, but BOTH! Come on....it had to be rigged somehow. Trying to boost ratings probably! Ever since Barker left its gone to the crapper!

66. I've watched TPIR for the majority of my 45 years. I loved "The Drew Carey Show" AND "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", which BTW, Drew SUCKED on Whose Line, but thankfully it wasn't about him. I tried to watch TPIR with him, actually setting my VCR for a few days. it was painful to watch; a root canal without novicane would've been a pleasure. Months later, I was home sick one day and figured I'd put it on. It was actually WORSE than it was originally. Drew is a bumbling idiot without an ounce of humor in his bloated body For the love of God CBS, replace him.

68. Drew sucks being the shows host. I watched the show all the time until Bob retired. When Bob retired the show should have retired as well, it's just not the same anymore. It must be such a great disappointment for Bob Barker to see his legacy tarnished this way. What a shame.

Who the heck picks a number like that? Most people pick numbers that end in multiples of 50 or 100. Sometimes multiples of 10 but to pick the last two digits of 43 is very very very fishy.

71. If I didn't know any better. I would think that Drew wants out of his contract and is purposely trying to make them not renew it. I used to love this show. Now, I cringe at the thought of watching it. Watching Drew host this show is like watching paint dry. I miss Bob. {:O(

72. I didn't read all the comments - but did anyone notice..... When he won the $500, the lady next to him bid $1 more than he did. SO CLOSE!!... Later...in the showcase... SAME LADY. She was an incredible $434 off. She's thinkin' she's got it wrapped up - but then, ol' yellow shirt guy beats her to the prize AGAIN!!! Musta sucked to be her that day. Any other day she'd be the big winner....

74. That's a setup! He picked the exact dollar value on the first round, then the exact dollar value on the showcase. The woman missed her guess by only $400 or so, and Drew is TOTALLY elsewhere on this. All Drew had to do was just say, "that's the exact value", there is no other proof required on that show. It's a hoax!

That is a total setup. Are the show directors racist? Woman haters? Was that male contestant some relative of the show directors, they set up to give him a winfall of freebees? What a freaking joke. That female contestant should SUE bigtime and bring that whole show down.
