196. What a bunch of hateful comments. Why on earth do people hate this family so much? I just don't get it. Its the same with the Bush family. You guys hate Palin cuz she brought conservatives out in droves so the democrats had to do what they do best, make her out to be an idiot and make it sound like she and her family are a bunch of hicks. Give me a break. Are any of you governors of a state?

Honestly, when kids get to a certain age, short of tying them to a chair in the basement you can't even expect to control their actions. Plenty of parents who did their best have kids who get into various kinds of trouble sooner or later or who just make unwise, life-changing decisions (early pregnancy is not a crime, just generally unwise in our society). Never say "MY child, who was PROPERLY brought up, would never do THAT" or you know what will happen next.... Fate is easily tempted!

I admit the situation is a tad ironic for various reasons. But blaming the parent for the actions of a parent of a daughter's boyfriend is really too much of a stretch!

198. Judging by the comments there are a hell of a lot of Saints out there that have never had an inlaw or aquaintance that had a chemical abuse problem. Let's see, if I remember right O'bambam used pot and obviously has an addictive personality considering he's still a chump to the tobacco companies. As long as some of you want to bring family into this we have no genetic linkage between Palin and Levi's Mom. O'bambam's father was a real great guy and I'm sure none of that was passed on because he was the result of immaculate conception.

You are so behind the times. I have seen a copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate posted online. Is it because he was born in Hawaii, you think that makes him ineligible to be President of the United States? Well John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone. Barack's mother is an American citizen as well as John McCain's parents. Move on to something else. You are too fixated with this birth certificate issue. We are in dire straits in this country. Obama was elected President and as such I respect him. Although I did not agree with Bush ideologically, I respected him as the President of the United States.

I agree it should be a non-issue due to the fact his mom was American. However, technically what Obama has provided is a 'certificate of live birth' which is actually not the same as your actual birth certificate. Apparently, you can get a certificate of live birth even if you are born outside of the country. I don't get it, to be honest with you. I am probably not explaining it very well because I don't understand it completely. They are different, though, and I guess the cert. of live birth is not actually proof. I actually wish people would drop the issue (and I am not even an Obama fan); perhaps Obama will just release the real thing just so people would move on. He probably can't find it. I can't find mine. When I went to get a passport I had to get a 'cert. of live birth' as well. They accepted that even though it wasn't my actual birth certificate.
