He's been teetering on the financial brink for years, yet we've learned somehow Michael Jackson has rented a home in one of the most exclusive areas of L.A. for a whopping $100,000 a month.

The $38 million Holmby Hils pad has seven bedrooms, 13 baths, 12 fireplaces, a screening room and, of course, a cellar for Jesus juice. For sleepovers, there's a guest house, swimming pool and garden.

The deal was inked several weeks ago under a heavy-duty confidentiality agreement. Michael already has stayed there.

22. Michael Jackson "being broke" is not the same as the average American eing broke...To me being broke is wondering how I can pay the utility bill or buy groceries. To him it is can he really afford another $100,000 shopping spree

24. Sometimes I wonder about those kids he bought. Are they safe? Does he molest them? The life they must lead with this freak turns my stomach. I hate it when some kids cannot be helped when you know they are being harmed in some way.....

26. The thrill is still as unique for Michael Jackson. No matter how the media and others continue to belittle Michael, he will always be the star God gave him. No one can take that from him. I am old enough to know regardless of how life experiences befold upon you, it is not your final act. Everyone have a place in God's house. Therefore stop throwing stones because it will bounce back at you! God love you Michael Jackson, God Bless You!

"He has had Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency for years but it's gotten worse. He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it claims Ian Halperin, a former award-winning investigative journalist on America's respected Rolling Stone Magazine.

Canadian Halperin says Jackson, 50, has been diagnosed with Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency, a genetic condition that can be fatal in severe cases. And he claims the singer is now so ill he can barely speak and has lost as much as 95 per cent of the vision in his left eye.

Jackson was photographed in Los Angeles ten days ago visiting a doctor prior to shopping in several of his favourite stores with aides. The singer, who wore a Long Ranger style mask and Indiana Jones fedora to almost completely hide his face, was able to walk unaided, despite being seen in a wheelchair earlier this year near his home in Las Vegas.


Jackson's condition has worsened to the point where his quality of life is severely diminished


But Halperin claims Jackson's lung condition has become more acute, causing the spin-off pulmonary disease emphysema often associated with heavy smokers – even though he has never touched cigarettes.
The writer added: "He has had Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency for years but it's gotten worse. He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it.

"He also has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which his doctors have had a lot of trouble stopping. It's the bleeding that's the most problematic part. It could kill him."

29. TMZ and other media you guys should just give it up on the "broke rumors" and now the "he's dying rumors". This guy will always trump you because he got it like that. He never responds back to you guys and you just HATE that doncha? LOL

I wish I was as broke as Michael Jackson.

Oh and he doesn't just own the Beatles catalogue, but Sony/ATV has bought several other catalogues within the past few years. MJ owns just about every song you listen to on the radio. LOL All the Sony artists, some of Elvis's music and more. Check out their website at sonyatv.com.
