He's been teetering on the financial brink for years, yet we've learned somehow Michael Jackson has rented a home in one of the most exclusive areas of L.A. for a whopping $100,000 a month.

The $38 million Holmby Hils pad has seven bedrooms, 13 baths, 12 fireplaces, a screening room and, of course, a cellar for Jesus juice. For sleepovers, there's a guest house, swimming pool and garden.

The deal was inked several weeks ago under a heavy-duty confidentiality agreement. Michael already has stayed there.

61. One of these days, perhaps the media or at least those listening to the media will see the discrepancies between fact and the reports they are reading. Maybe journalists will start to report the truth instead of making themselves look foolish with statements like "He's been teetering on the financial brink for years, yet we've learned somehow Michael Jackson has rented a home in one of the most exclusive areas of L.A. for a whopping $100,000 a month." Perhaps they were following false information from the start?

62. Why is it that tv, music and movie stars think they HAVE to have these huge houses? Can they not be happy in an ordinary house like the rest of America? Why do they think they need such grandeur? I know, they have the money so they want to live that way, but really, can't any of them be NORMAL??

64. Dont believe all the crap you hear when it pertains to people of colour who have money, It seems some people resent that and will say anything to make themselves feel better about their own shortcomings...MJ IS BY NO MEANS IN THE POOR HOUSE ..

65. well anyone who thinks MJ is broke doesnt have much of a brain.. Yes he went delinquent on neverland but then ownership was transferred to a company he owned and everything was paid current to the lender.. MJ has more money then god its invested in different companies. and YES he owns the rights to ALL Beatles music. no one can even use a song for a commercial with out paying MJ no matter how bad people don’t like him he is here to stay with all the money he needs..
