"Sopranos" Actor Beats Murder Rap

Lillo Brancato, who played Matt Bevilaqua on "The Sopranos," was acquitted of second degree murder today in the 2005 shooting of an off-duty police officer.

Brancato was convicted on a lesser charge of attempted burglary. He faces a minimum of three years -- but since he's been in jail for nearly that long already, he could get credit for time served.

Brancato's accomplice, Steven Armento, was convicted earlier this year of first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

47. TO #33 If a crackhead was trying to break into my house, 911 would be the last thing my fingers would be pushing.
The only purpose cops serve, is to put chalk lines, around the bodies.
But you are right about one thing, my fingers would be bleeding, from pulling the trigger on my 9mm many, many times.
The truth of the matter is, cops only get to the scene, after the crime has already been committed.
And furthermore what makes a cop's life more valuable than a non cop's life?
Don't rely on the police to protect you, people.
Protect your on damn selves, and your families.
Then call 911. They may actually show up, after an hour or two..... ARTOFWAR.
