13. He is giving her full time care if he wasn't there she would be in a straight jacket. I love her to death but we all know she can not control her own life. She needs someone who has her best interest at heart and who better than the person who helped bring her into the world. You know he loves her. That is all that matters. 14. Astonishing that anyone would fault Jamie Spears.

He's an unsung hero in the rehabilitation of Britney's life. Absent him, she would no doubt be ruined or, worse, dead by now.

Britney has demonstrated she has no capacity for self-management. Thankfully her management is no longer coming from Sam Lutfi or that Adnan loser (whatever his name is ... I'm too lazy to look it up).

Frankly, I think Jamie Spears should be recognized as a man of great honor and integrity. He stepped into the mess *she* had created; he did so with no self-generated fanfare; he has not sought fame or celebrity from this engagement; he has operated entirely within the guidance of the court ... in short, he has been a selfless gentleman during this process.

Now compare that to Lindsey Lohan's parents, or Britney's mother for that matter.
