16. He should take care of her because she is his daughter and he loves her...no other reason. It is sad how they line up with their hands out. Britney already does take financial care of them. I live near where she grew up and I have seen the house she built for her parents about 5 years ago. It is amazing. They drive nice vehicles, travel, etc... he is her parent, not her employee.

17. Arizona (13) has the correct assessment of the situation. Brit is lucky her dad is there, otherwise she'd be in the looney bin with no money and no access to her kids months ago.

He's her MANAGER, running a multi-million dollar BUSINESS.
When he meets with clients / makes deals / negotiate contracts, etc. he SHOULD conduct business from an office... AND have staff.

19. It's disgusting that the family is on the gravy train. The dad should claim what he would have made at home as a chef, which is probably like 50K, and that's ALL. He shouldn't be getting rich taking care of his child. If he'd parented her properly instead of whoring her to Hollywood maybe she'd be healthier right now. The entire, parasite family is disgusting, especially the mom who wrote a book to profit off of, and while, her daughter losing her sanity. DISGUSTING!

20. I see everybody's using her for their personal ATM machine under the disguise of caring for her. Mom has Jamie Lynne as her ATM, so Dad and Bro get to use Britney. Dad really has a hard job jet setting to Paris, London, Japan and Caribbean Islands, New York and walking the red carpet in designer suits around the world. What does this dumb hick Jamie know about show business. He's just up their as a figure head. Her manager, larry rudolph, does all the planning. She better watch out or all these people around her will drain her of all her money and dissappear when all the mone is gone.

21. I guess we'll have to see if he is truly an honorable man. I'm not so sure. Any parent that stands by and let's his/her daughter do the oversexualized videos and music that this girl does and has done since 17 years of age can't be looking out for her "best interest". Was he on the set while she was doing her video for "Womanizer"? Umm, that is kinda weird.... I could never act like that in front of my parents without feeling complete embarrassment! This whole family is strange. The only person I feel any kind of sympathy for his Brittany Spears because she was a child who didn't have proper parental support and dicipline. Now, they want to "dicipline" her for a PRICE. Hmmm, somthing sounds funny here folks. Stay tuned..........................

22. I think that if Jamie and the courts had not stepped in, Britney would probably be dead by now. He deserves to get paid a full-time salary for doing a full-time job (personal manager, babysitter for her and her boys, etc...) Hell, if the vulture lawyers are worth a mill, surely Jamie is worth $160k. However, I am starting to question his motives. If he really had her BEST interests at heart, he would pack her up, move her back to Louisiana and help get her straightened up. I don't know, maybe he sees the end of the road coming up quickly and figures he may as well help Britney get every penny out of this ride that she can. Whatever his motive, he is a hell of a lot better than his pimp ex-wife. I am convinced that there is a very special corner in Hell reserved especially for Lynn Spears.

24. I worked for an attorney for a long time and saw how families change over money. They can start off being a very loving family until someone doesn't feel they are getting their fair share. Her father may love her but no one knows his heart. With this family, it always seems to be about the money. I wonder if her father is helping her or controlling her. She still seems very ill.

I agree with charliesmom ... this girl was shaving her head in public, being carted off strapped to gurneys to the mental hospital, wandering drugstores at night, losing custody of her kids, and had lots of questionable people surrounding her who flat out stole who knows how much money, and her dad has taken all of that and turned it completely around in less than a year. Dad should be praised for saving her life and career, but he needs to be paid.

30. It's worth every penny and Brittney can write it off, would rather see it stay with people who really care for her then the creeps she has been handing it out too and helped bring her down to crazy town.
