(Page 1 of 1)james Hong is one of the early pioneers that broke out in the movie business back in the 50's ...I still remember seeing him on a bonanza episode as a chinese immigrant.....DUDE....YOU ROCK .
Balls of Fury!!!!!!!! "Wong, you old horn dog".....Christopher Walken......Maggie Q.....great!
umm hello?? you forgot the greatest character he played....snotty in revenge of the nerds 2. to quote booger he is the "master".
I got bored and looked him up on IMDB and he has 335 roles listed and many of them in big blockbusters! He's like the ultimate bit character actor for Oriental/Asian roles (no disrespect meant either). Who wouldn't recognize this man from something? Kind of funny how he just happened to be strolling along under a marquee he was in! But with that many movies, I guess it wouldn't be hard! Pretty spry for being almost 79!
Isn't he also from the Seinfeld episode who didn't call Seinfeld's name until after they'd given up and left?
Ray Ray, HeH8Me, couldn't agree with you more. Actors like James Hong, James Shigata, Jack Soo, France Nguyen have done a great service to Americans of East Asian ethnicity. Unfortunately, while you can't portray African descent or latino people in a bad way, it's still P.C. to poke fun of Asians.
Lo Pan?! Which Lo Pan? The little old basket case on wheels or the 8 foot tall roadblock I ran over, through!
