21. Doesn't seem like very good security if the pappers can get this close to the President Elect to be able to take photos. Same with taking photos of him yesterday without his shirt on. There needs to be some changes.

23. I think the media goes a bit too far when they can't even allow the man privacy to say goodbye to his family member! I suppose if we the public quit looking at the photos they would have no reason to shoot them. I guess we are all a bit too nosy!

24. I wouldn't get too concerned about the proximity of the photographers. Keep in mind that professionals photographers have high quality telephoto lenses that can easily get images like that from a mile away. I'm guessing these guys are at least half a mile from Obama. Chances are also pretty high that there are members of the secret service over with the photographers that probably inspected them and keep an eye on them from close range.

Whether or not this should have been a private moment not open to photographers is one thing. But as far as safety goes, the only risk to Obama was him slipping on the rocks.
