Obama's Final Farewell to Grandma Toot

Barack Obama and his family held a memorial for his grandmother yesterday in Oahu, Hawaii.

These are photos of Obama scattering his grandma's ashes in the sea. Madelyn Dunham, whom Obama called "Toot," died just days before he was elected Prez.

61. DEAR MR. PRESIDENT,
I'm sorry to hear of your grandmother's death, where is your mom? She should be dumping them she might do it a little better being that your suppose to throw the ashes in the air so it scatters all over the ocean if you just dump her there she might grow back.

62. I like how Obama's media strategist made sure to triple the ash content so it would appear on film, lol, just saying....

63. #54 CM....
Photogs are INVITED to those events. Do you see them hiding in bushes a mile away taking photographs of memorial services? No, They have passes or have some obligation to be there

Point is. This was rude of the pap who took this photo. Dont get me wrong, Even though Obama is in a public place, morality should overcome the all mighty dollar. But with todays papz it doesnt matter anymore.

64. Yeah, the white grandmother who raised him gets burned and tossed away.

No grave that way and he can forget his white roots. And a photo-op to boot so win-win.

66. #54-Just because your family works at WAL-MART, doesn't mean that no one else's family can have a respectful job. As for taking the pics of 911 Memorial, King family Memorial and etc., those "events" are planned and annouced to the public. #54, EDUCATE YOURSELF and maybe you may become a manager at the local McDonald's. Keep Hope Alive!!

67. I can't believe you would take this picture much less show it. That is disrespectful of him and his family. Let the man grieve the loss of his grandmother in private.

70. Why didn't he just throw the "typical white person's" ashes under a bus like he did to her during the campaign?

71. That's it! This is the last time I am checking TMZ's moronic website. This is the most blatant show of disrespect you have displayed thus far. The man is burying his grandmother and you STILL can't leave him alone?? And oh yea, he's our next president. He's not a celebrity! He's a man who is going to be the leader of the free world. Stop following him around. Our country is a mess socially and economically. Leave the guy AND his family alone and keep him off of your site. And IF you want to show one iota of class, remove the pictures of him scattering his beloved grandmother's ashes from your site now, and vow to no longer post any pictures of funerals, whether of presidents or celebrities. This is one of the most classless things you have done to date.

73. A little Toot on the rocks.

74. Ok.. We get he will be the president and everything he will do will be under the microscope however, this is a TOTAL lack of respect for him as a human being. HE WAS TRYING TO SAY GOOD BYE TO A LOVED ONE AND TMZ HAS THE AUDACITY to post this as ENTERTAINMENT.

this was an all new low for the media!
