How's this for a movie poster quote -- "So good I kept watching even after I shot a man"?

After trying several times to get a guy to quiet down -- including a little popcorn throwing -- a man in Philadelphia allegedly shot another man because he wouldn't stop talking during "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," the Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting.

And what's worse -- it was on Christmas Day and the alleged victim was with his kid!

James Joseph Cialella is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and weapons violations. The paper says after Cialella shot the guy, he sat back down and continued to watch the movie. Two thumbs up!

18. No that this guy had it coming or anything, but I've also been to a movie where a man talked nonstop to a kid. It is very annoying to say the least. But this guy should have gone out and demanded his money back. Also, the guy didn't shoot his own kid - he shot the father of a kid.

19. I don't like it when people talk in movie theaters, but the guy just ruined his own life by pulling that stupid stunt. Now he will go to prison where people don't shut up and where he can't go to the movies anymore.

21. In our alternate, yet vastly superior universe, offenders of this type are dragged from the theater and then are treated to the much feared Fogging by a Thousand Red Ropes. Then our KatieBot 5000 Protectron Unit slowly burns the skin off of the offender! After that, it gets much uglier, but I will spare you fragile humans from the more unsavory details. Unit Cruise is well aware of these tactics, but is sworn to secrecy.....until our time comes!

.....IVE(1) been in movies where dumb bitches have been on THERE(2) cell phones, giving a play-by-play to THERE(3) friend....

Ahh, all you people sayin what he did was awful...

face it, he did what we all dreamt of doing to someone who wont shut the F up in a theater..
Maybe if the guy had better manners, he wouldnt have been shot..

29. I'm surprised no one stated the obvious here.

Why is this guy carrying a gun into a THEATER? How was he able to get past the front doors, since most places have metal detectors embedded in the door frame?

What did he think was going to happen after shooting the guy? Did he think those around him, the theater staff, and anybody within earshot (sorry!), were going to just continue whatever they were doing, with the guy bleeding all over the chair (and people presumably screaming), like nothing happened?

And did he think his kid wouldn't be affected by this insanity?

Every time I think I can't be shocked these days in this world, somebody always proves me wrong. Where has the respect for human life gone?

This planet is FULL of evil and negativity. Aggression abounds even when it is not necessary. Somebody please tell me Judgment Day isn't coming sooner rather than later.

Anyone without a 'crazy' gene would have simply gotten the theater management involved.

Just my two cents.
