RNC White Album Officially Drops

Finally, the perfect stocking stuffer for Republican's dreaming of a White Christmas – a CD called "We Hate the USA" with the hit track, "Barack the Magic Negro."

It's true -- RNC candidate Chip Saltsman pimped the 41 track CD to fellow committee members to get them in the holiday spirit.

As if the RNC Kool-aid couldn't get any more bizarre, the Obama tribute is sung by an Al Sharpton impersonator, to the tune of "Puff the Magic Dragon."

The song, first spun live by Rush Limbaugh, includes the lyrics "See, real black men, like Snoop Dogg, or me, or Farrakhan, have talked the talk, and walked the walk, not come in late and won."

What's next -- "Ivory and Ebony" and "The Star Spanglish banner?"

Wait, they're on the CD too.

301. You people who keep referring back to comments by their numbers - (I mean you, Barbara, dumba@@), get a clue - the numbers change and nobody can tell who you are responding to! Not that I give a sh(T, or anybody even reads them.... just saying.

302. 125. colbys woman and your point is?? Obama has stated that he did not condone what his former pastor said. I love how you whack job republicans focus on tedious things, there are more important things going on in this country.

Obama only threw "pastor" Wright under the bus 20 years after he started going to the church, and the political pressure got to be too much for him. OK, if there are more important things going on, why is TMZ putting this on their website? The parody song was based on a column written in the L. A. Times by a gay black liberal journalist, and played on the radio over a year ago. So, now, someone bought a few copies of the CD and gave it out as stocking stuffers or something. Why is TMZ making such a big deal of it? They should move on to more important things, maybe, hm? And the name of the CD is because of the hate liberals have for America.

303. 294. It is interesting that this post concerns the racist nature of the Republican party and all the Republican defenders can do is resort to is name calling and misinformation. The article in the LA Times is in no way or form reflected in the racist Republican song being promoted by one of the Republican party leaders. With any luck the Republican party will simply fade into the sunset .

You don't understand the words "satire" or "parody", apparently. The parody/satire song was based on the title of the column which called BO a "Magic Negro". Try to learn for us that words mean things, try to understand meanings of words, OK? (BTW, I fixed all the typos in the original post to try to make you look better. You're welcome). By this standard, you must believe what SNL did in a skit with Tina Fey (as Alaska Governor Sarah Palin) saying she could see Russia from her house. Sarah Palin did not actually say that, it was a parody of something Governor Palin said. See the difference? Hope you will comprehend it one day...

304. As a Republican, I think this was not only "ridiculously racist" ... but also misguided in it's attempt for parody. I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN "BACK IN THE U.S.S.R."

306. Tsk. The Republitards waiver between accusing Obama of being a Muslim and accusing him of being a radical Christian. The fact is, neither is true. He's a Christian but mostly he's a professor of Constitutional law. They accuse him of killing his grandmother for the publicity. Not true. They accuse him of being a socialist which is really not true. He's a centrist, and you can tell that by the cabinet he's chosen. They accuse him of not being an American when his birth certificate has been publicly posted on the web for a long time. In fact, they harrass and whine and complain about anything they can make up and they don't care how ridiculous the accusation is, or how often it's debunked.

It's shameful. This is not a sports game. The man is president-elect of the United States and they should at the very least wait until he's in office and has actually done something before they start crying that the sky is falling. They listen to too much talk radio, that's what I think.

307. What's next for the Politically Incorrect Republicans, the "MAGIC JEW" featuring Henry Kissinger, Allen Greenspan, etc.? They're so UNREGULATED that this appears to be the direction they're headed in. After they've insulted every ethnic group, who will be left to vote Republican outside of Texas, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi?

308. To TMZ: WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO USE 'BLURRY' AND 'UNFLATTERING' SCREEN CAPTURES OF OBAMA ON YOUR WEBSITE? DO YOU THINK NOBODY NOTICES?

309. what was that phrase again, oh yeah, "a nation of whiners". fyi, we live in a country with freedom of speech. and for those who don't know yet, puff the magic dragon is not a kids song.

310. being the mother, of 5 children, three of whom are african-american. i don't care what any law dictates, in my eyes, my bi-racial children are no more black than they are white. and it is my goal to see to it that they are proud of both ethnicities.

311. Truth:

Your post is the first time I have ever heard any garbage about his grandmother's death. Killing his grandmother? That would be the same retarded sentiment that people have re: Bush bringing down the Twin Towers himself. Garbage on both sides. I am ashamed if a Repub. spread that regarding the grandmother just as I hope you are ashamed of some of the liberals who subscribe to the 9/11 conspiracy theory.

As for the birth certificate, he has a "certificate of live birth" available for our viewing pleasure which apparently is not the same thing. He has NOT made available his actual birth certificate. Personally, I do not get the difference but scholars say there is one. Once again a moot point IMHO because I always thought as long as the mother was American, therefore, so would the child. I actually support Obama in that assertion. But he could make it all go away by just releasing the damm original certificate. Shut everyone up once and for all. When he refuses to do that, he makes it seem like he has something to hide, ergo, continuing the furor.

312. Alyssa,
If you read through the notes on this tedious thread, you'll find several people suggesting Obama killed his grandmother for the publicity and it's not the first time I've heard the sick accusation. And yes, it is pathetic and, yes, I do cringe at the 9-11 conspiracy tin hat nutters, too. While I could believe a government might create in incident to justify a war, there was neither need nor reason to attack our own country to do so. It is never difficult to talk Americans into war, after all. There would just be no purpose in doing such a thing and as much as I loathe Bush and his cronies, even I don't think they kill people just for the fun of it. (Well, maybe Cheney... ;-)

Hawaii has said they have his birth certificate. And, frankly, why the loons think the Republican Party wouldn't have blocked his candidacy by any means possible is beyond me. Obviously, if there was any real reason to suspect his citizenship, Rove and his boys would have been all over it like hyenas on a rotting carcass. They love that kind of stuff but, no, they never questioned that he was American. Because he is an American.

313. Jrome,

You didn't actually read the article, did you? Too long and too many big words. It was not racist but was critiquing racism in America as it relates to politics. The song the Republican Party is distributing under the same name is pure racism. There is a difference. Duh.

Posted at 6:36PM on Jan 2nd 2009 by Truth

314. This is not offensive to me, but it is beyond stupid. I'm a conservative and we need to get rid of the back woods republicans. They are destroying the party and Huckaphony simply will not cut it. Someone smart and succesful like Romney is the way to go!

Posted at 2:56AM on Jan 3rd 2009 by Ronnie

315. @301 and others, "Geez, you people are stupid. The part TMZ leaves out is that the song is based entirely on an op/ed by black columnist David Ehrenstein, published in the L.A. Times in March '07." On this logic, it would be OK for me to produce a book called "Mein Kampf" about getting rid of the Jews because someone else did it first. No, no, my fine feathered friends, this is just racism, pure and simple. And it is not going to work long term, because in the US, white proportion of the population is declining.
