18. David Letterman was told to exercise by his doctor or he would die. I guess he wants to stay alive for his kid who he decided to have as a 55 year old man. He has to reach 73 to see his kids 18th birthday. Just what every kid wants and needs. To be a teenager with a father that is old enough to be your grandfather. This is what selfish people do. It's always all about them. They never seem to think about what life has in store for others because of their actions. Well at least the kid will have money and an easy life. Who needs a father anyways? Keep running for your life Dave. I for one would love to have you live long enough to see your Barack Obama single handedly destroy this great country. I want you to live long enough to know that people like you are responsible for the failure of this once strong nation. Good to know before you have to deal with your new home in HELL when you do die.

Another person in the media who shoves his politics down people's throats.
I can understand why he never goes out in public though after the stalker and kidnap threats.
Why anyone is interested in him is beyond me though.

Letterman's behavior pre-dates the kidnap plot. Furthermore, his behavior would be a gross overreaction as many celebs, and many non-celebs, are faced with dangers and threatening people all the time. Helicoptering in daily is also a gross environmental violation and disgustingly excessive and self-indulgent. The guy's not a trauma surgeon saving lives. He hosts a crappy show that incidentally has been lousy and lazy since Merrill Markoe left decades ago.

25. David Letterman lives by me, and we see him often jogging around town, or on our school track. He does keep to himself. Once he took a picture with someone I know.
