Oprah Fooled Again by Fake Love Tale

Oprah Winfrey called Herman Rosenblat's tale of how he met his wife in a concentration camp "the single greatest love story" she'd ever heard. Only problem -- it isn't true.

Rosenblat, who survived the Holocaust as a young boy, had written a memoir telling the story of meeting his wife of 50 years when she was a farm girl who tossed apples over the fence at a concentration camp. Then, claimed Herman, he met Mrs. R. 12 years later on a blind date. Well, lovely though it was, the story was made up, and now the memoir is being yanked -- and Oprah is once again red-faced over a story she championed very publicly.

Oprah gushed over James Frey's alleged memoir "A Million LIttle Pieces," only to find it was faked.

106. this 1 of 2 things. 1st she either does this kind of crap to get the public's attention, and to feel sorry for her, and see what a great thing she will do the next day, for giving her audience a dead horse the day prior. Or 2 birds of a feather flock together. Oprah grew up near the neighborhood i did, I've met with lets say certain people that knew her personally. She might or might not have been raped at the age of 9, however, as soon as she was 11 or 12 she became a holy terror. 13 or 14 years old, she got knocked up, by lets say, not keeping the church doors closed like a good girl, and after her mother could not stand her, and family wanted nothing of her, being the unruley snot that she was, she was shipped off to her dad's to live, or go into a juvinile home. Let's also jus keep in mind with the lifestyle she had in milw. how she possibly came to get her own show. The same person that after the show got a nice rateing, and decent producers etc. she suddenly became divorced.
