32. To the person, I believe it was commenter #21 who said we should stop romantizing the view of marriage. That person hit it on the head. Good grief. Brady split with Moynahan BEFORE he had any idea she was expecting. Then he takes a lot of heat because he (1) sired a child out of wedlock and (2) would not marry Bridget. Hello? Why was it "OK" for Brad and Angelina to have a baby (multiple babies now) out of wedlock. Why was it ok for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (before they eventually married)? Johnny Depp is NOT married to the mother of his children as far as I know. Yes, these couples are together, but IMO, Brady had no obligation to go back to a woman he did not love anymore. This is NOT the 1950's anymore, thank goodness. As far as I know, and have heard, he takes care of his kid. Some here object to his relationship with Gisele? Is he not supposed to have a life? I wonder why Bridget gave the kid HER name? That is ridiculous if you ask me.

He's not taking heat because he didn't marry Bridget. Bridget seems to be doing pretty well without him. What he's taking heat for is being a father who doesn't make too great of an effort to see his kid. He spent a lot of his offseason in Europe, Costa Rica, and NYC. He's getting raked over for not spending more time with his kid. We value fathers in this country, you know! He cannot even say his child's name in public? Does that seem like a proud father to you? Maybe Bridget gave the child her name because he lives with her, maybe Brady OK'd it (or maybe not- she doesn't need to ask his permission for anything), maybe she knew he wouldn't be involved too much. Like you said, it's not the 1950s, and children are sometimes getting their mothers' last names.

36. No one knows the deal as to why the baby doesn't have his last name. Maybe Bridget was being spiteful. That may also be the reason why Tom doesn't see the baby that much. We don't know the details so we shouldn't make assumptions and blame people of trying to trap their man or being dad-beat dad. I say the heart wants what it wants and apparently Tom just didn't want to be with Bridget anymore. Unfortunately, she was pregnant at the time but I say its better to leave before the child is born than to stay and subject the child to years of the parents' being unhappy.

37. The only time people know when Tom sees the baby is when Giselle is there getting her face in a picture. Wh?. Her publicity hounds make sure of that. I live in Boston, and when we hear he's been with his son, Giselle hasn't been there, there are no pics. SHE has HER publicity people MAKE SURE the photographers are there when she is...makes me sick. She is using this kid. Plus, Tom's treatment of Bridget during her pregnancy was disgusting. Allowing Gisele to make the comments she did (about aborting the baby, etc), and allowing his friends to make the comments they did. Totally disgusting. It shows Bridget is the better of the three as she keeps her mouth shut. As for those who talk about trapping a man? That goes on everyday in this society with teens and those other women in their 20's, and 30's. The average Joe who impregnantes a woman and dumps her acts just like Tom, why don't you get on their case too? What you don't know them? Well you don't know Brady either.
