Barkley -- Sweatin' the Mug Shot

TMZ is the new CNN. While TMZ has been breaking this story, all the talking heads on the morning television shows in Phoenix were doing what they've done for 50 years - reading the Arizona Republic on the air as their news. Unfortunately, the Arizona Republic hasn't had any news in it for the past year. It did not report Barkley story until 2-1/2 hours after TMZ.

Guess Phoenix news hasn't heard about "new journalism," which began in the mid-'70s. As John Mellencamp said about horse towns, they're either 5 years ahead of time or 25-years in the past. Happy New Year.

I'm pretty sure that is a poorly pixelized pictures- not sweat.

I find it pure comedy to have CNN run the exact same major stories from TMZ with a different headline. They lag about 30 minutes, but it is always on point. Then again, CNN is starting to lose credibility and almost on par with FOX; bunch of journalists and reporters with questionable G.E.D. Might as well call it "Biased News on 10pm"

Have to gut the system, their teeth are still stuck with dusts from the depression era; outset mentality and perspective is skewered. One case where experience will hardly triumph over this progressive lifestyle,

This is going to come back to haunt him if he runs for political office. I saw him on television the other where he said he was going to run to be the governor of Alabama. Good luck with that Charles. LOL!

Maybe one day people will realize that stars are just people just like the rest of us...people try to hold them to a higher standard just because they're stars but the reality of it is they put their pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us. Yes it's not good to be driving drunk if he was but it's a way of life and yes it's wrong and dangerous but he's just like the rest of us and he makes mistakes. I'm just glad that nobody got hurt because as we all know it could have been worst. He's not above human error just because he's a star.
