18. This truely a sad story, but what is really disturbing is all the racial comments that are being posted. The fact that he is black and ran a stop sign, and was pulled over, is what it is. He lacked good judgement in his actions, and in turn will have to pay for them. Some of the people posting the racial comments so far have also LACKED GOOD JUDGEMENT.

24. " If you people READ, it says "on SUSPICION of DUI". Nowhere does it say he actually was driving while drunk. Until then you should not judge." - yeah, the cops are making this up becasue they don't know that he can afford a lawyer that would make a false arrest a big dollar lawsuit.

"Anyone who drinks and drives is stupid. Especially during holidays when they take special care in setting up DUI checkpoints." - yeah, because killing yourself or someone else doesn't make it stupid, the likelyhood of getting caught makes it stupid.

"Gestapo police state, drawing blood at checkpoints. Big Brother in action." You are the biggest jerk of all. What about the other driver's on the road's right to get home alive? When you get behind the wheel you are NOT in a private situation, you are in public. I hope I don't live anywhere near you and I feel sorry for those who do.

I just recently moved to the Phoenix area but practically the first thing my brother told me when I got to town was NEVER, NEVER even have 1 drink and get behind the wheel of your car here in Maricopa County. He said AZ has some of the strictest drunk driving laws in the country AND they actually enforce them and ACTIVELY pursue offenders. He said it is an AUTOMATIC 10 days in Sheriff Arpaio's "Tent City" and it does not matter who you are or who you have representing you. He said it is actually a waste of time/money to even bother with an attorney. They don't give a rat's a$$ who you are (supposedly). It is off to Tent City for you. So it will be interesting to see IF Barkley tests positive, if the rules will actually apply to him, too, no, not because he's black but for the whole celebrity spectre. The rules are always different if you are famous.

30. He wasn't pulled over ... it says he went through a DUI CHECKPOINT which means cops stop everyone who drives by to check for drunk drivers.
