It's called "being gracious." It's one of those character traits found in flyover country, but mostly absent in LA and NYC.

You ought to try it some time ... people seem to respond well to being treated with respect, rather than being torn down by endless streams of snarky comments.

what's so awful about being polite, tmz? josh answered your photog's questions, and wasn't snotty or anything. jessica simpson may not be the best country artist, but she's not terrible, and josh gracin has a right to think whatever he wants about her. if he had given a meaner response, the headline would be trashing him for trashing her. you can't win with the paparazzi. nice people can be found anywhere. being polite isn't just a country thing, since i see tons of polite people everyday in central new jersey. either way, josh is a great country artist, and he should get points for being so nice, not made fun of for it.

Jessica could take some lessons from Josh on being gracious and maybe she would still have a chance in country music.
You don't go on live radio and call the current and 3 time Female country vocalist of the year, Carrie Underwood, lame, not cool, and not telling the truth (liar). Especially when Carrie told the truth and it was Tony who lied to Jessica. All in the month before Jessicas CD dropped. She dug her own grave. You don't mess with Carrie, nobody messes with Carrie, her fans will rip you apart. The same with the Cowboys. Don't mess up the game, the fans with rip you apart.
