317. May the Spirit of all comfort be with the Travolta family in this hour of their mourning.
May the Father of all mercy see their tears and hear their cries and have compassion on them all.
May the Lord of all grace and the Shepherd of their souls seek them out and bring them into the safety of His care.
If the Travolta's are guilty of any sin or wrongdoing I forgive them knowing this, Jesus has done so also.
May they find peace during this time of their grief over the loss of their child.
If in their heart they have been led into any darkness by those who are of the Dark I pray they may come to see and know the Light.
Finally, in the hope of the Resurrection I commit the soul of their child into the merciful arms of a faithful Creator.
May it please the LORD to receive Jett into His presence and welcome him into His eternal home.
For it is in name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

specialists who were not on a list of Scientology approved doctors

we'll never know since medical records are confidential
only the family's word that he had Kawasaki's or anything else
and we all know how families can lie and circle the wagons if they
feel the need to protect themselves

and if a doctor speaks about this to the news media-if he's
affiliated with Scientology-would we believe anything he said anyways

321. note to CS: why don't you go live in Cuba if you don't like and cannot handles seeing different opinions or thoughts than your own? Meanwhile, I will state my own opinion. Scientology sucks and is responsible for many, many deaths. Jett had clear signs of Autism and it is not a "blessing in disguise" that he died like some other moron posted above. Just because people are different or not average like you does not mean it is a blessing if they die! F you.

322. I also have to wonder if they even went to the hospital when the ambulance took him there. So far the press has said that he hit his head, had a seizure, etc as the reason he died BUT they also say he was last seen about 24 hours before they found him ALREADY dead. So why are they also saying they know thecause of death already and why are they claiming he was "rushed to the hospital" when he was already admittedly dead?
Sounds fishy. Scientology likes to blame deaths on seizures or drownings a lot. In most cases in the US, someone would call 9-11, then police, me, and social services would be there along with ems and fire dept. and the whole thing would be investigated.
Poor Jett and his poor sister. What will it take to wake the cult followers upout of their trances?

323. I was so shocked to hear this news yesterday , I am a big fan of John Travolta I think he is is just a great person and a genuine family man and no doubt loved his son beyond belief.. They said the mother is quiet, well that is because she has just lost her son and is just numb in disbelief of what is happening all around her, there is a hole in her heart that only she feels right now. Because she was Jetts mother, and the bond between mothers and sons is very deep. Mothers carry their children, mothers have their children.
As a mom who has lost a son, in Jan. 2005 who was only 18, I know exactly what she is feeling I can truly relate because this is a club no parent wants to belong to, and it is every parent's worst nightmare. To be there by your child and not be able to do anything when the only thing we want to do as parents is protect our children at any cost, lay our own life down if it will save our child, then that's what we would do. I have been here, where they are, and for all the nasty comments it's a shame thereare actually people as such that exist, but always remember KARMA and be careful what you say about others pain because someday it may happen to you, and hopefully you will remember your comments and you will then know the pain.
Parents are not suppose to bury their children, it's just not the order of life we expect to have.
But it happens everyday, and I feel it for others everytime I hear or read about someone losing a child, January 14th will be 4 years for my son Danny and it still feels like yesterday, the hole in the heart never goes away with the loss of a child. It's so difficult to explain the pain -it's just excruciating, makes you fall to the ground,
I can only wish this family my sincere sympathy, and I do know your pain, and it's just one day at a time.
I hope others will be kind afterall your comments affect all of us who have lost children and we would never say ill words to you if it happened to you. Respect the Travolta's and pray for them. Remember their is also a sister who lost her big brother, have respect.

324. 316. I can respect anybody's religion EXCEPT when that religion causes harm, to another. Scientology forbids drug treatment for mental or brain disorders. Was Jett ever receiving any antiseizure medication to get his seizing under control??? If not then what happened to Jett was nothing short of child abuse. Why was he even unattended from Thursday evening to Friday morning? He's special needs and should not be left alone. It's very hard for me to feel sympathy for his parents if they medically neglected him. It actually makes me feel very angry with them.

My Heart breaks for the Travolta family I can not imagine their pain I have been praying for comfort for their family. I am a Christian and it just breaks my Heart for someone to be cruel and mean and blame their actions on their being a Christian like it is their duty to judge! Jesus came not to judge the world but that the World might be saved !!! and that is in the Bible ( God's Word )

326. Have some of you people lost your mind?? If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I agree, please don't let this be like the anna nicole smith thing. It's bad enough that this has happened. They don't need a constant reminder everytime they turn on the tv. They are people too. So keep the cameras out of their face. Let them greive just as you would a person you met on the street. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Travolta family. Stay strong.

As they say in Education, this is a "Teachable Moment." My heart goes out to Jett, a tragic situation all around. But I think people should be aware of groups like Scientologists. Adults can do as they please, but children have rights. Also, as mentioned earlier, I've researched and seen how "members" of Scientology will swamp websites like this when someone in their group ends up in the limelight.
