107. 14. At least Jett will now be with a loving God. Jett was simply baggage that John Travolta was forced to cart around. How could he ignore his dead autistic son for an entire day and not notice Jett missing? Even the caretaker was lax. Now John is freed from his burden and no longer stuck with his imperfect creature he obviously despised.

You hateful posters on this site are disgusting. John and Kelly Travolta adored their son and took him everywhere with them, they were by no means ashamed of or burdended by him.. His son loved to be in the plane so John took him in their private plane all the time. If you have every listened to a John Travolta interview you would have known that BOTH of his children and his wife are his whole world and whenever John traveled to make a new movie - he took Jett with him as often as possible. I cannot believe the filthy lies that you people are coming out with - you must see conspiracies everywhere. For the record, my husband and I have met John and Kelly on several occassions and you will never find a more devoted set of parent anywhere. When Jett was diagnosed, John flew in specialists from all over the country to get the best Doctors possible for Jetts's care. When he was diagnosed with his rare disorder - John did an interview about it and urged other parents whose children displayed the same symptoms to be tested. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. There is a special place in HELL for you.

108. You people need to stop--you are so ill informed it is unbelievable! My daughter had Kawasaki at 2months--right after the carpets where cleaned. This disease doesn't just go away , kids die from it. It affects the heart and makes them catch any illness more easily. Many kids have neuro damage from it. It is possible that the Kawasaki gave him seizures. These people just lost their child for Christ sake have some compassion. If you never had a child you had Kawasaki and how it can change EVERYTHING about your child SHUT UP! The child WILL have problems for the rest of their lives, my daughter is only 10 months and we pray everyday. Learn about something before you open your mouth.

109. IF, and this is a big if, Jett had chronic seizures, he could have sustained brain damage. Untreated seizures can cause brain damage, if allowed to go on un-treated. As a medical person, I can tell you that there was definitely something wrong with that dear boy. He had some kind of brain problem. Very sad.

My heart goes out to all involved. Sometimes we are so close to a situation, we can't see "the forest through the trees".

113. All you people that are making judgments about the parents, do you know them personally?? If not, keep your unfeeling comments to yourselves. No one knows what this family does in their own house. They lost a child which is completely devastating! Leave them alone to grieve and not put such nasty comments that only hurt more. And #4, what IN THE WORLD is your problem and who made you the judge of who is a burden to take care of?? If you have a handicapped child then i feel sorry for them having you as a parent with such a nasty attitude. GROW UP!

115. My daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy 2 years ago at the age of 12. I am a single parent and I gave up my well paid career to 'look after' her. We now live on the breadline with no prospects for the future. Call me over anxious but my daughter no longer bathes, when she showers I sit outside the bathroom, I never go out and leave her alone. Yes our lives are restrictive to say the least but no sacrifice, be it financial or social, is too much for my child - the most precious thing I have in the world.
This is how we deal with the hand we have been dealt. I am only too aware of others attitudes to my actions, "what is the point of living if you don't LIVE", "you cant be with your child 24/7 for ever", "You need a life too", "Are you really prepared to lose everything to provide this over the top level of support".....my answer is always YES, you bet. I am not prepared to take any chances. How others deal with epilepsy is up to them and I can see the benefits of not allowing it to get in the way of living your life, its just not what I choose to do.

My heart goes out to John and Kelly. The fact is no one knows what happened. All these suggestions of other illness's which may have been kept secret by John. Well, he may be a celebrity but first and formost he is a father and just because he is in the public eye does not give everyone the right to have exclusive access to his personal life. It is no ones business what Jett may or may not have suffered from so speculate all you want.

If epilepsy was the cause, this is very very sadly not uncommon.

Whatever the outcome, a family have tragically lost a loved one which at such a young age is just to awful to even contemplate.

I am not at all religious and that is my choice. You believe in what you want, that is your choice. John and Kelly's belief's are theres too. Do not judge or criticise - you do not have the right.

Compassion is a wonderful thing, it brings inner peace.....for those of you who have left nasty comments, can I respectfully suggest you give it a go!

116. What is unclear is what the hell happened to this child. How could it be that the last he was seen was 10PM the previous day. It doesn't make sense. Don't the Travolta's bother to look in on there impaired son to at least say goodnight. Is it normal for them to just ignore their children for that long of a period of time. Its not right that no one bothered to check on his whereabouts for that length of time especially if he was a special needs child and it sure sounds like he was and also by the looks of him. The fact that they had bells and alarms makes it even more suspicious that no one laid eyes on him in all that time. It just smells of some type of neglect to me. I'm sorry, I am sure the Travolta's are devastated and I believe that; however there really needs to be more details on this instead of the police reporting already they don't think a crime was involved. Neglect is a crime even if you love your child. Withholding medical care is not neglect, it is a deliberate act of harm against a vulnerable person who is incapable of acting for themselves and the courts needs to be harsh in those types of cases. All Gods help those who help themselves , even E.T. God, you can't just sit back and believe religion is going to cure your diseases, it is ludacris to think that and I pray that was not what happened to this poor child and if it did then I hope the stupid police don't do one of their famous cover ups because Travolta is a celeb, that is also a crime. I truly hope I am way way off base here and if I am then shame on me for real, but there are more questions here that need some serious attention.

I feel sorry for people like you and for your idiot comments. Also, it doesn't matter if they don't believe in God, or if they don't pray. We can pray for them, on their behalf! We don't know all the facts, but we sure are ready and willing to slam a family, who has just lost their son. Get a hobby, and keep your vile posts to yourself!
