Jett Travolta Autopsy May Never Be Public

Jett TravoltaThe Ministry of Health in the Bahamas tells TMZ the autopsy findings in the death of John Travolta's son may never be public.

Dr. Hubert Minnis says a pathologist at Rand Memorial Hospital (where Jett Travolta was pronounced dead) is currently performing the autopsy, which should take several hours. Dr. Minnis says he personally decided, because of the high profile nature of the case, to bring in a second pathologist from Nassau, Dr. Karen Sands. Dr. Minnis made a point to us that Dr. Sands is an American.

The doctor says once the pathologists complete a preliminary report, it's forwarded on to a coroner. The coroner then forwards the completed report to the Travolta/Preston family. Dr. Minnis says only the family has authority to release the findings to the public. No word if that will happen.

How DARE ANYONE talk about the loss of a child unless you experience it FIRST hand,whether it be from a disease or accident.I lost a child and you don't know the pain and emotional trama the family is going through right now.I can only hope for their sake,they won't read or be exposed to the BS some of you morons are putting here.And for you to guess it has something to do with his religion,oh come on now.Are you seriously that stupid?It angers me to no end when those who have NEVER walked in a parents shoes when it comes to loosing a child,try and speculate what they THINK is going on.My prayers and thoughts are with the family,and I will pray for the morons who also are clueless,heartless,and wrong when it comes to making their rude and stupid comments.

36. If the child died as a result of parental neglect (which is what it seems like) the public has a right to know. No special treatment for celebrities. This case needs to be fully investigated. A child who suffers frequent grand mal seizures taken off of his medication and not placed on any other anti-seizure medication?? Fishy.

37. I am continuously amazed by the comments I read on this site. Since when is knowing the results of an autopsy a "right"?! People need to read up on their Constitution. John Travolta and Kelly Preston had ZERO obligation to tell the public whether or not Jett was autistic - and the same holds true with the autopsy results. It is entirely up to the family and I will applaude them if they choose to keep it private. After all, they have already been condemned by those reading this site - no matter what the report says all people will see is "Scientology KILLLLLLLSSSSSS!!!!!" *rolls eyes*

38. Will the results be made public if there is an inquest? I'm sure someone will contact the authorities and have them look into whether or not this happened because of neglect or religious beliefs. There was a case just a few months ago where parents who belonged to some other cult denied their child medical care because of their beliefs. The child died, the parents were prosecuted. But of course, the Travoltas, or rather the scientologists, can afford better lawyers...

Btw, those who want to learn more about just how dangerous the scientologists are should google Jeremy Perkins and Linda Waliki. He stabbed his mother to death and she her father and sister after their parents denied them medication for psychiatric problems, instead used scientology methods to treat their kids' severe problems

Err, comment no. 33, what planet do you live on? im guessing your a child, or you have no common sense, Jett was 16, he had 2 nannies with him, and very loving parents, where do you get off saying he died from parental neglect? im guessing you dont have children of your own, and are probably hard up, which is why you are slating two parents who have just lost a child...GROW UP YOU TOSSER!!
