Jett Travolta Autopsy May Never Be Public

Jett TravoltaThe Ministry of Health in the Bahamas tells TMZ the autopsy findings in the death of John Travolta's son may never be public.

Dr. Hubert Minnis says a pathologist at Rand Memorial Hospital (where Jett Travolta was pronounced dead) is currently performing the autopsy, which should take several hours. Dr. Minnis says he personally decided, because of the high profile nature of the case, to bring in a second pathologist from Nassau, Dr. Karen Sands. Dr. Minnis made a point to us that Dr. Sands is an American.

The doctor says once the pathologists complete a preliminary report, it's forwarded on to a coroner. The coroner then forwards the completed report to the Travolta/Preston family. Dr. Minnis says only the family has authority to release the findings to the public. No word if that will happen.

I cannot imagine the horror and sadness and grief the Travoltas are experiencing..
and for ppl to try and find blame..
maybe one of you will have a child killed in a car accident or somehting one day--God forbid--but if so, may ppl never try to blame YOU for the accident!!

64. I hand out pamplets about Scietology and what it does to people in my community all the time. Now I will add this to the list of what it has done. I don't want anymore people hurting their kids like the Travoltas. I will have to go to Atlanta now and hand out the pamplets too.

65. I'm no doctor that Sciencetologiests don't believe in medication for everything/anything. Just look how Tom Cruise ranted and raved about poor Booke shields and her antidepression drugs. If this is the case with Jett, I hope that the parents, Kelly and John and have guilt for a very, very, long time. Who approved them his doctor???!!!

I was not passing judgment on you - I simply gave you back your question/statement that you asked of others, sorry to have offended you. I am sorry to hear that your child is sick. No, I am not jobless - I am a mother to a beautiful 10 year old boy who is in school at the moment and I also own my own business and I am able to do what I need to do from home. My work for the day is complete until I pick up my son from school in an hour and then my attention will be 100% on him as it should be when you are with your child. Then when my husband comes home from work, I will make dinner and we will have family time - so no, not jobless here. Just because people are able to sit here and comment does not make them "jobless", as you should know since you are still here posting and you say you are not jobless.

I refuse to attack you or your character as you have done to me, but I do wish you and your child well - as a mother, I know how it feels to have a sick child. I wish your child a speedy recovery and God Bless.

69. This is so sad. Nobody knows what the case was. For anybody to say that they killed their child... just sad. So sad. For all people involved. It's hard to see that so many write such horrid, ugly things.

70. I believe the people that are judging this family, hopefully, do not have any children themselves. If you do I can
only imagine what kind of parents you are. It is none of our business and a child is dead. Someone's beloved child
and it is obvious he meant everything to this family. The "media" such as TMZ and I say "media" with no
respect to the kind of outlet you run, are nothing but sharks and whores. A great film called "Absence of Malice" should
be viewed by all of you. I doubt that anyone here would understand the morals of that story because you obviously don't have any morals here.

72. The police have stood by their story...the boy was alone in the bathroom for at least 10 hours. Who doesnt check on an autistic child that is prone to siezures for 10 HOURS!!!

74. John and Kelly owe none of you anything. The public did not nurture that child for 9 month, give birth to him or even raise him his entire life. None of you have sat by and wiped his face when he was sick or pay for his medical care. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT to request anything! If any of you idiots knew anything about the autopsy process, you would not that the exact cause of death will not even be available immediately after autopsy. You have to wait for tissue samples to be performed and for toxicology. That can take up to 8 weeks.

75. Jett Travolta more likely had Autism but the family self-diagnosed him with this Kawasaski Syndrome, found mostly in children 3-5 years of age. Being the uncle of an autistic 5-year old boy myself, I could see it in video of Jett when they allowed him to be videoed in public. [walking on his tippy toes, etc.] Were they ashamed that he was possibly autistic? No parent wants to blame themselves for something like having an autistic child, but it does happen, even in a perfect world.
