91. What a predicament! It's a tragedy that this happened to the Travolta family and it really is a shame that Scientology has taken front stage in this tragedy. My condolences go out to the Travolta family.

and I heard on the news that he had seizures in the past that were medically regulated. Which may not be accurate...

94. Good Call for the family and doctors. Regardless of what the results were, armchair mental health professionas, interns and doctors would add their negative two cents. For those who have experienced similar tragedies, did you email, write or post the results to world. Of course not. It was a private matter and only those close to the family was privy to many of the details. Just because they are celebrities does not mean their private lives have to be an open book.

97. It is heartbreaking that this boy has died. His parents will have to live with this. I do not bekieve that the public is entitled to results regarding his cause of death. If there is anything unorthodox about his death, then the authorities will deal with this. having said that, for the family to say; "that each seizure was like a death".........exemplifies lack of comprehension, & ignorance about seizures. As well, I have seen a young boy, allowed to die, based upon religious belief, when a feww units of blood WOULD have saved his life. Having witnessed this first hand, as a nurse in an emergency dept.. I was angry , helpless & devestated, that 2 parents could allow thi. As for the Kawasaki disease.......it begs the question, did the Travolta.s allow the reqired treatment, which requires medication & Immunoglobulin. Finally. The parents stopped his anticonvulsant. There are several anticonvulsants available. .and are used in different combinations to control seizures. I hate that word."powerful" in terms of medication. It is means nothing. What works, is what is meaningful. Personally, I will remain sceptical about this death. That is my perogative.

100. I think folks are curious because of the Scientology angle. Travolta has long denied any claims that his child had severe physical and mental disorders. That denial is a slap in the face to parents everywhere who have to face up to their child's limitations every day, and try to find treatment, that they often can't afford. The fact that the Travolta family has really no financial limitations on providing the best medical treatment available, and they don't appear to have taken advantage of that blessing, and instead it appears they were quick to withhold medication and possibly not have him on anything else, makes people curious as to what really happened.

For me, it's not that I want to point my parents at the Travoltas and say 'bad parents', it's more a wakeup call for all those Scientology parents, and Christian Scientists, and other religions who withhold medical treatment.

102. Okay, I'll lay off the Travolta family. But who turned most of us against Scientologists, Tom Cruise. I guess if I'm on the verge of killling myself from extreme depression and don't want to die anymore, I should just pop a vitamin and excercise and I'm cured, per Tom Cruise. The idiot never even graduated from high school and is telling people what they should do with their lives. How arrogant! I'll lay off Mr. Travolta for now until I do know the real facts. But Cruise is the one who took that religion and made it a very self rightous, know-it-all, arrogant religion.

103. It's no ones business what goes on in there life.. You only have to see a picture of John & his son to see the deep deep love between them. Please stop saying mean things about it being the parents fault. Don't you have any compassion for what they are going through.. The family is in unbelievable pain, just imagine if this were you & how you would feel.. Give them the peace, privacy & respect they need to heel there broken hearts.

104. When and why would the autopsy conclusions be given to the police or criminal authorities? If this case needs to be investigated would the coronor make that decision or those doing the autopsy? If this child died because of lack of correct medical assistant I iwould think that might spark criminal investigation. Of course the Scieintologist are wealthy because of people like Tom Cruise and John Travolta and are all lawyered up. Why don't the FBI or prosecutors get involved in this and other cases where children die because of cult beliefs and control... Upset and concerned

105. Reading through some of these comments has me shaking my head incredulously. Not ONE of you are INTIMATELY involved with either Jett or the parents, know NOTHING about the course of his life, what was tried, what medications were given and not given, etc. YET, you seem to all be experts about what happened to this young man, make judgements as ridiculous as calling the parents murderers, etc. Such simple minds.
