Bahamas Minister "Appalled" at Travolta Leak

More conflict surrounding the death of Jett Travolta: The Bahamas' top health minister is "amazed" and "appalled" that mortuary officials blabbed about the cause of death, because, he says, it's meant to be confidential.

So said Dr. Hubert Minnis this morning, but he shed no more light when asked about what actually caused Jett's death.

5. Dr. Minnis is correct to uphold the principle of patient confidentiality.

Leave this grieving family alone.

6. O.k, so why is it so bad in this case , but there has not been a stick raised about any other celeb's death? Or is it because this is suppose to be protected by "scientology" Whatever. They only stated the obvious anyway. Is was said since day one that Jett had Seizures, and that is what they said the cause of death was. so if there is anything different, it has been kept quiet.

13. I did think at the time, that it seemed inappropriate for a funeral home person to be talking about the state of a clients body. Who is he to talk about it to the media! If i was the parents I would be furious! I still think that their is maybe something fishy going on, but no reason at all for him to talk about something like that. Prob after his 15 mins of fame, I hope the idiot gets fired.

14. Umm to all the people that are making negative comments in the Bahamas get off your high horse celebrities are people nothing more nothing less. If this had happened the america so much more information would have been leaked that there would have already been a script for a movie or something, please do not think that becuase you livein America and we live in the caribbean islands that we are less educated hell we helped build your country. Accidents happen and people die when it is there time to go it is simply time to go no matter who you are. There would not have been all this discussion had he died in Beverly Hills.

15. The Travolta lawyers make a statement that the decision to stop all medications was made after "consulting" a doctor. What they won't tell you is that the doctor almost certainly THE DOCTOR THAT EVALUATED JETT DID NOT AGREE WITH THE DECISION TO TAKE HIM OFF HIS MEDICATION--NO DOCTOR EVER WOULD in a child this ill. This is almost certainly why the name of this doctor has not been released. During my internship I did several months of rotations in Neurology--and this is what Neurologists teach. Although unintended, this foolish decision cost the life of an innocent child. I've heard Travolta spinners on the news say that "there is no evidence that it was bad decision to stop the medication". Hello!! The evidence is an innocent child who was taken off medication and died of a seizure. What a tragedy--and yes, it was preventable.
