91. My condolences to the family but mostly to Jett. In all his 16 yrs the family would not admit to his autism which he clearly was afflicted by. It matters b/c it is a great diservice to all people on the spectrum. They were obviously ashamed or felt it would hurt their public image..shameful. Now after 16 yrs & this tragedy they are being scrutinized and are leaking things like developmental disability..again for public image & sympathy..this is very sad
This child didn't even have language ..kawasaki disease? I think not He was clearly autistic & this often accompanies seizures in teen years. His death may have been a tragedy of his affliction or they may have not medicated him as neccesary. either way it is a sad thing . But sadly for Jett his disabilty caused shame & he was not accepted for who he truly was - why is kawasaki or epilepsy a more desirable disabilty? Very sad set back for all those on the spectrum of autism.

93. Jett's parents have been on numerous TV shows stating that Jett had Kawasaki disease when he was a toddler and they "cured" him with Scientology "treatments". John Travolta said it was treated and overcome very quickly. Jett's mother was on a talk show and said the same, "treated with Scientology purification" which consisted of hot saunas and high doses of niacin. Scientology attempts to practice medicine and they kill people doing it. Check out the website whyaretheydead

96. Wow there certainly are a lot of really ignorant mouth-breather types that post on here.
First, Jett GOT THE MEDS HE NEEDED, IDIOTS. So many posting keep whining about him not getting meds, but that is incorrect. As with many illnesses, especially long term, meds stop helping or new ones don't do what is necessary. Seizures are an area that seems to often be difficult to find the right balance of meds.

There is NO CONSPIRACY all you paranoid nimwits! This is a family that is devastated and hurt and they simply want their privacy. Much of the media is respecting their privacy, not covering up some sinister plot... IDIOTS.

Cremation is not just for adults, silly people. Many people much prefer to know their beloveds are "ashes to ashes, dust to dust" instead of rotting worm food. NOTHING was done especially quickly either, especially since they had to wait for 3 days for the autopsy. You guys are just really naive, rather stupid pot stirrers that need a swift kick in the asss.

Honestly, it seems that most of you are the products of incest, you are so lacking in intellect and moral content.

97. Okay, I thought I made my peace with my last statment and would let it go, and on Jett's death, I will. But will all you scientologists out there posting please respond to me how medicating my own child is any of their darn business???????, and why the heck they should not leave me alone?

100. This whole thing is really very sad, no one deserves to lose a chld. We here were not there and we do not know what happen so it is not fair to speculate on something when one does not know the real truth.
But I will say this, if I made the amount of money the Travoltas do, I would make sure my son had the best medical care money could buy and I would keep trying until we found the correct medicines.

101. All Scientolo-loons.
Please stop posting defenses of this crazy religion from your cult HQs near Hemet, California.
We all know you signed away your souls, to be servants of Scientolgy for milions of years. IDIOTS.

103. The kid looks retarded in the good pictures too.

Even without the epilepsy he would have been a lifelong problem. It's a relief he died.

Sure they're sad but the last 16 years must have been awful too.
Now at least they can enjoy their lives again, free of this burden.

105. Religious beliefs have nothing to do with grief. Regardless of what you do or do not believe, it doesn't ease the unbearable grief one feels when they lose a child. I cannot imagine having such a terrible tragedy play out so publicly, and to ice cake, actually have people put down those who are grieving. It sickens me. I am not a Scientologist, but, i do know it to be factual that there is nothing within Scientology that forbids you from receiving medical care. The only such thing even close to that scenario is when Tom Cruise denounced psychiatry. This does not however mean that the Travolta/Preston's felt that way. Whether they did or not is their business, and they are entitled to raise their children as they see fit. Period. Let them grieve in peace without having to defend their religion as well. The last time I checked religion was a personal matter, and not fodder for tabloid speculation and ridicule.

It's called empathy people. You should try it.
