62. WTH??? She probably kicked him in the balls or something to get that sort of treatment. Even so, that sucker needs jail and therapy time.

63. He deserves to be charged and prosecuted. You sick, sick, sick slimeball.
Does this make you feel more like a MAN to beat up someone who is HANDCUFFED and half your size???
Image how he treats his wife behind closed doors.
Please tell me is being more severly punished than just being fired. SICK F*#@

65. #60 So two wrongs make a right? Let the cops beat, mutilate, mame, etc? So break the law to teach people NOT to break the law. Your logic is mind boggling.

68. How sad that I am more afraid of cops than of murderers, rapists....

69. If you think this cop's behavior was justified, you just might be a redneck. Do me a favor, drink a few more PBRs and go drive through Louisiana.

70. I'm with no.3...put her in the tank.
In a situation like this, there should mhave been a female cop present.
This is what happens when you hire 'cowboys' who don't know how to do the job.
These actions give everyone else on the job a bad name.

71. If she would have just sat down, there wouldn't have been a problem. She was acting like an idiot. I wasn't entirely disturbed by the cop (and I usually am).

72. Very distrubing and scarey. All that blood.
I'd love to hear the cop's reason for turning the camera off.
I know that lady was an obnoxious drunk but come on ... beating her bloody??
Why didn't they just put her in a cell till she sobered up?
Maybe the cop DID want a bj? Is that why he turned off the camera? She seemed subduded at that point.
Who knows. Thank God for the cameras.
Remember - Absolute power corrupts ..absolutly!

73. To those who side with Macon Bacon (PIG) do you really think it's fair that a MAN beat down a WOMAN in cuffs and screwed up her face? Yeah, she got what she deserved, yeah right. Because if I get busted for being drunk I completely expect to walk away with broken bones in my face. And he covered up the camera because what he was doing was completely by the book right? You sicken me and I hope that all of you who believe this was right get your a$$es kicked when you are down.

74. Amen Firefly! These police that do this stuff will have to face God & answer for their abuse in situations where it obviously isnt necessary. This woman was in hand cufss and could not have harmed a fly. The excessive blood etc - this cop was psychotic and unfortunately these days many of them are. There are alot of good ones out there but alot of bad also.

75. You don't put her in the drunk tank so she can sober up while you are still investigating.
The entire purpose of that particular room is to get evidence of the suspects intoxication on video. He was trying to get her to stand on that line so he could administer field sobriety test. He would have also tried to administer a breath test but she could refuse. If she had refused to everything he would have then read her her rights but the video leading up to that point would have been enough to show she was intoxicated because her behavior was not normal or that of a sober person.
That officer should have gone to get someone to help and he should have never turned off that camera and did whatever he did to her. He was fine, right up until he turned off the camera and she ended up on the floor all bloody. Two wrongs don't make a right but another person's wrong doesn't excuse bad behavior. He should have been prosecuted. She should have been convicted for DWI.
