FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN, THE LADY DID NO SEEM LIKE SHE WAS THAT DRUNK, I THINK SHE WAS SCARED BECAUSE SHE KNEW WHAT COPS ARE LIKE IN THAT AREA. IF SHE WAS SUCH A THREAT AND DRUNK WHY WAS SHE NOT HANDCUFFED FROM THE BEGINNING...THE PERSON TRYING TO DEFEND THE COP BECAUSE WHAT IF SHE HAD KILLED SOMEONE WHILE SHE WAS DRIVING..SHE DIDN'T, SO DOES SHE DESERVE TO BE CARRIED OUT ON A STRETCHER WITH A POOL OF HER BLOOD ON THE FLOOR...I CAN ONLY ASSUME THE PEOPLE DEFENDED THE OFFICER ARE POLICE OFFICERS, MEN AND WIFE BEATERS THEMSELVES.

77. I gotta say, I'm white, and except for a couple, the nice cops in GA are the black cops. The white cops, whether it sounds crazy or not, are on a power trip. For some reason the black cops can be loud but that's about it. They seem to have compassion for people. I've only met like two white cops ever that were decent. And I never met a black cop I hated. It sounds racist but it's not, just my experience.

78. If the dumb ass would have cooperated with the police officer, this never would have happened. I don't know which is the bigger idiot - her, or the people commenting here that say it is police brutality. 98% of these issues happen because people don't do what the cop tells them to do. She got what she deserves.

83. Well. At least she wasn't shot in the back while laying face down, handcuffed, like the poor guy in Oakland. Police brutality is wrong, wrong, wrong. This woman was drunk and of course she's going to act like an idiot. The policeman was a jerk. I'm glad he was fired.

86. Okay, they should tell the rest of the story. My brother is a captain on the Shreveport Fire Department and he works closely with the Shreveport police. When this story ran on our local news, I called my brother to find out what happened. He said that number 1, the chick was arrested for drunk driving because she crashed her car into a tree. Her face being all black and blue is from the accident and her black eyes are from when she broke her nose when she ran into the tree. The police had nothing to do with that. Also, she has a rap sheet a mile long and the police have dealt with her on many occasions - mostly from the manufacturing of narcotics and child abuse. So don't get fooled into thinking she is some innocent shrinking violet. All in all, I think the police officer handled himself very well. Also, he was not fired, he was suspended pending investigation.

88. ya know you just don't into the police station and demand a phone call, you go by the RULES, your there for a reason. she should have stayed calm, waited, she demaned a call. YOU DON'T DO THAT, she got what she wanted, poor little white girl big o police beat me up. if she hadn't pulled away, maybe she would not have gotin into this mess. she got what she aked for, TO MUCH DRAMA, its all over the tape. i don't care what people say, SHE WAS THERE FOR A REASON. sorry she got hurt, but its at her own doing.

89. #82 Lindsay...You're joking right? You can plainly see that her face wasn't injured in the video prior to Willis turning off the camera. According to the police report she was arrested after hitting a parked car in the Sams Town casino parking lot...not a tree. Also if you spent a little time researching before writing asinine comments and calling it the truth you would see that Willis (the officer) was fired by Police Chief Henry Whitehorn.

Try learning the facts before commenting...it just shows your ignorance.

90. Linsey are you a fkn idiot? Did you watch the same video as the rest of us? After reading what just the facts posted I googled her name ( Angela Garbarino). There is nothing mentioned in ANY of the stories of her having a history of narcotics or child abuse or for that matter even having an extensive rap sheet. If any of that were true it would've been reported or mentioned in any of the numerous news reports. Your facts seem to be very different then all of the reports from the news including the Shreveport Times. So once again I ask you, are you a fkn idiot?
