I know Larry Flint and Joe Francis can turn their companies into bak holding companies and then they will be eligible. Bet set
It would actually make more sense for the government to bail out the porn industry than the banking giants like CITI. Flynt and Francis' porn companies at least employ American citizens and contribute to our economy rather than outsourcing all their work to India like Citi does.
This is a great way to maybe make people see how stupid government bailouts are! Companies either need to stand on their own, or fail.. It's the American way. Rewarding bad management and bad business practices is not the way to help. Let these bloated, out of date, out of touch corporations flounder! Serves them right!
The Government spent over 350 billion dollars and don't know where it went. Larry Flint and the Porn insdustry does not need a bail out it made over 12 Billion Larry is good for 400 Million hes saying it as a joke because this gov. don't know how too manage money.Americans are plain ignorant. This is a joke thats how Larry Flint is. What they need too do is bail out Max Hardcore out of jail
I don't think this will happen.Their shooting for free publicity. Too many politcians depend on playing the good doing christian to get those wholesome votes. This would be truly "throwing money down a hole"....;)
Are you serious. The freakin Union crybabies of this country are the reason we are in this mess. Unions are not the backbone of this country they are its demise. Every time you turn around the unions wanna squeeze the companies with union workers more and more to the point they cant make a profit. And then you Union retards wonder why smart companies go to other countries to make their products. hell they can make them there and ship them back at half the cost of making it here. Unions run the companies in the ground. So dont sit there and tell us its unions that are so great. Personally i wish they would outlaw the friggin unions.Unions are exactly why the big 3 need a bailout. You union tards make far too much money for sitting on your butts and snubbing your noses at management. I toast all the union employees that cant see that every time they ask a company for more money its that much closer to the unemployment line they get. Do us all a favor WAKE THE HELL UP. If it were me i would love to see 2 million unemployed union crybabies have to get real jobs.Pretty sad when you have to pay 40k for a car thats worth 25k when you drive it off the lot cause of unions pumped up payscale and benefits. Get mad all you want facts are facts.
Knowing Flints exploits and political activities in the past, I'd have to say that this is probably a very sarcastic way to publicly point out the ridiculous manner of which our government hands out money to specific industries in order to 'help out' the economy. They freely handout money to Wall Street tycoons and banks, when they should be taking them over and reinstating loans to homeowners at reduced interest and dividing the loans at a lower rate to smaller/more responsible lending institutions. They hand over bailout money to the oil and natural gas industry, who are making HUGE profits during a recession (not including tax cuts and supplements that they already are receiving.) They choose who rises, who falls and who will get a 'get out jail free card' based on who contributes to their campaigns. I think Larry and his cohorts are doing just fine, and this is just another political statement to continue the discord and public discussion about this situation (possibly even introducing it to new segment of the population that hasn't been paying attention.) Clearly not enough people care about these issues, or their would be protests outside the hallowed halls of Congress and outside the fences of the White House right now. And, if Larry and Joe can drum up a little publicity for their publications and productions as well...couldn't hurt, either!
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
